Decisions for a new daily driver

I have a Sebo D4 that I am thinking about selling. Its less then a year old but th ET-1 PN is just underpowered. I was thinking of selling it or my rainbow E2 Black with aquamate, super mop, and extra parts but I dont think I would get much money for it. What are your thoughts? I am aware that...

    Central Vacuums

OUCH! A bagless central vac? How is that even a good idea? Dumping a bagless upright is bad enough. I always dumped them outside before I got decent bagged machines.

    Ranking The Consumer-Level Carpet Shampooers

I have had 2 Bissell carpet shampooers. The first one I wore out and couldn't source a brush. Now I have the pet pro heat 2 or whatever. I love it except I wish I held more waste water. I also try not to use soap but my carpets are still fairly matted.

    Sebo ET1 kicker plate change

I could do that but I think it makes more since to allow bypass. I didn't seen much better results either. Personally immunity impressed with the ET1 PN at all. I feel it's drastically underpowered and I'm trying everything I can to get make.itnwork. but it might just be a feeling as it's...

    Sebo ET1 kicker plate change

So I feel like my sebo has so much suction that it boggs down the PN. Is this a solution or is the dealer just trying to sell something or recommend something without being more knowledgeable?

    Sebo ET1 kicker plate change

I have an option to buy another plate that allows more air flow through the front of the PN instead of the carpet. What do yall think of this?

Rainbow E2 Black vs Sebo D4 cleaning

I was doing just by the instructions. Which if I remember correctly is just to adjust the brush down to when the red light cuts off. We'll for mine even with low-low/medium pile carpeting can be on 4. That's why I say if I set it too low ita almost as if it's underpowered and not able to spin...

Rainbow E2 Black vs Sebo D4 cleaning

@compuvac oh yea for sure the rainbow might make it look like you picked up more dirt but if I vacuum after I use the Sebo I get A LOT of dirt back.

Rainbow E2 Black vs Sebo D4 cleaning

Ok thanks. I had been using 4 and 3. 3 might be okay but my carpet has a lot of wear and it's matted down pretty good in one spot.

Rainbow E2 Black vs Sebo D4 cleaning

Mike. What would you think my problem is? Not lowering the PN enough?

Rainbow E2 Black vs Sebo D4 cleaning

I have the blue one now. Is there anything that can be done? I like the machine but just feel the PN is slow/underpowered.

Rainbow E2 Black vs Sebo D4 cleaning

I talked to my dealer and they will send me a softer brush to see if that changes anything. They offered it for free but I don't know of that will make a difference. Thoughts?

Rainbow E2 Black vs Sebo D4 cleaning

I have both these machines and haven't really tested out the cleaning performance side by side until lately. I dragged the rainbow out of the closet just to use it and cleaned right after using the D4. I noticed the Rainbow has very dirty water and a good amount of pet hair and grit in the...

    Parents new Rainbow

There was a motor change back in 2015 or 2016. My E2 Black only consumes 900 watts. Yet it outcleans my Sebo D4 easily.

    Rainbow Air purifier mode.

IA the D and A even healthy got for you to breath in? How do you know its actually evaporating. I have fish tank and no chemicals evaporate out of them enough to make a difference.

    Rainbow Air purifier mode.

I have a rainbow and its just collecting dust. It's a fairly useless machine overall except for the mop. I really do like the mop but vacuuming is so so and suction is meh. The fact that rainbow even sales the unit advertised as an air purifier is beyond logical sense. The E2 black is...

    SEBO K3

You could try. But it really doesn't cost that much so if its a failure then just buy a new one.

Miele or Riccar or something else

I picked up the SEBO D4 yesterday. I like it and it seems to really dona good jobs of picking up dirt. Time will tell but it's very convenient over the rainbow. Air flow seems to be a little higher on the SEBO.

    Kirby Carpet Shampoo System

The Kirby system is great for getting regular dirt that has adhered to the carpet fibers. For stains its mostly useless but I have never tried using it with the stain/spot remover. I'm not even sure that Kirby guard works. I don't even use the Kirby shampooer but I need to.. whenever I get me...
