    Kirby Heritagee II questions

I'm using my small nozzle Heritage more and more and I'm using the universal style Hepa bags in it. But I'm having a problem with the fit of the bag onto the fill tube. It seems as if every other bag blows off the tube. Does the F style bag holder work better? Also I would like to wire my...

    Which Kirby bag?

I've pulled my Heritage II out of storage but have no bags for it. Will the newer allergy friendly bags work? How about the newest style bags? Looking on the Kirby website makes me feel that the bag opening's are pretty much the same. Am I right? Thanks! Greg

    Filter Queen filters

My Princess I has the old cotton batting filter. How often should you change the filter and while I know the new foam one makes the machine a bit louder, will it also improve the suction? Greg

    Kirby Sanitronic/D50 questions

Help me refresh my memory! What's the right belt to use on them? In the Tip Top Parts catalog, the OEM knurled belt is O.K. What belt for the polisher? The Sanitronic is a single speed 4 amp machine. The D50 is rated at 5 amps for high. 4 amps for carpet speed? Thanks! Greg

New central Vac Riccar vs Vacuflo

Before you do anything try this! If your Valet has has an on-off switch on the unit, without plugging in hose, turn machine on and see if the machine winds up to almost a piercing scream. If it doesn't there's a problem. turn the machine back on and walk through your house listening for a...

New central Vac Riccar vs Vacuflo

Thanks! Another big reason is that the Riccar motors are in parallel. That means they are working side by side and exhausting separately. The VF motors are in series meaning that the first motor is working hard to do its thing, while the upper motor is trying to do its thing PLUS having to...

New central Vac Riccar vs Vacuflo

That's a tough one! Both are excellent machines. The Riccar is a Canadian made unit from a company I respect much. (I'm a retired central installer). Vacuflo has been around a long time also and is out of Ohio. Specs are equal, but the bagged units from Vacuflo are fairly new. For my $$...
