    Eureka Whirlwind Lite (410)

I had the bagged Sanitaire version I loved that little machine. I'm sorry they discontinued it.

Eureka Emperor Upright - 1967 TV Commercial

McClean Museum has Eureka literature........ I added the link to their collection, which comprises 9 boxes of Literature spanning the history of Eureka from its early beginnings to the Electrolux years. I don't believe any of it is digitized and I didn't find any vacuums when I looked through...

    Quantum upright

It doesn’t have a HEPA a filter & probably needs one…. That’s my only concern/criticism of this machine. Even Rainbow incorporated HEPA filtration at some point in their manufacture.

    Did you see this?

“Dim lightbulb”…. From the looks of it, I’m surprised that they didn’t paint the lightbulb lens!

    Did you see this?

Well at least it’s spray paint and not brushed on…. They couldn’t have been too serious about what they were doing because they didn’t bother to protect the wheels from the paint overspray. I never understood why people do this. I’d rather have a vacuum that shows its “battle scars”, unless...

    Mosquito vs ProTeam

Ditto on the Sandia Raven. I owned one for a little while. I bought the unit by itself on eBay for $40. I really like the latches on the lid. It really adds to the build quality. The nice thing about the hose inlet on the top of the machine is that it will also accept the electric hose from...

    Windsor Sensor XP12

Manchestervacs is a terrific resource! One of his videos showed me how to disassemble and reset the height sensor mechanism. I had no idea what I had gotten into but he walked me through it. If you don’t already know, it’s Sebo who makes these machines in Germany and they have long since...

    Windsor Sensor XP12

Check your auto height adjustment control. It should raise the brush all the way up when you have the machine upright and it should go all the way down on bare floor or really short pile carpets. If it works properly then you stole it for 12 dollars. You’ll probably need a new brush and...

    Panasonic Icon

We also had it as Bosch here in the states. It was a very heavy machine that could be adapted to use disposable bags.

    What do you, think...

They call it “shill bidding” It’s one of the reasons why I don’t trust eBay.

    Hose question

Looks like a RollEasy. The hose color threw me off.

Shark support after a few years

I just saw quite a few nozzles on eBay I'm sure that they're all used to some degree and some of them are probably incorrectly listed as Apex Duo clean. I even noticed a listing for a "floor nozzle joint" and that's the only reason why I posted here. Is the lock mechanism for the nozzle located...

    Miele Duoflex cordless stick

I just looked at the EBK250 I was taken aback at first when it was described as a “battery powered “ nozzle, but then I saw that the batteries are in the wand and not the nozzle.

    Aerus Lux Attachment

Blackheart, I couldn’t agree more. The only thing keeping me from getting a Guardian Platinum or a Legacy is the gas-pump handle and plastic wands. I couldn’t imagine owning a Lux canister without the flip-floor tool.

    Miele Duoflex cordless stick

Not enough to warrant an upgrade for me… I like the old setup better. My 84 year old mom wouldn’t use a Dyson because all of the weight is at the handle end. That made the TriFlex look so attractive to her because she could reconfigure it to be a center-weighted stick vac. This looks like it...

    shes here my Olympia one

That’s the difference with the Canadian models…. There’s no way to use an after filter on an Oly One. Electrolux didn’t make models with after filters for the U.S. until the plastic bodied tank was available in 1985. Can’t remember for sure, I want to say that it was called the 2100.

    shes here my Olympia one

There’s usually Plenty of Sidekicks on eBay And if you still have your Discovery upright, you might be able to use a Sidekick with it. You’ll need an electric hose AND it depends on which model you have. Not all of the uprights have a 2 prong outlet in the back.

    shes here my Olympia one

The Sidekick was originally offered with the Marquise in either 1987 or 1988. I don’t know which year for sure, but it was also available separately for any model using the direct connect hose handle.
