    Miele Guard series

And to add to that confusion…… Their M1 mid range has on board tools while their high end L1 has a 2 in 1 tool and dusting brush in hose handle. I think it cheapens the look with their “1 size fits all like it or not” dusting brush. Would it be so terrible if they had an extended production...

    New Miele

If only… The only thing keeping me from a new Miele is the lack of a motorized mini brush. Wessel Werk already makes a stock model so it wouldn’t be too hard to do.

    New Miele

Take good care of that matte finish on the body…. Sadly, it’s the only thing about these machines that’s vulnerable. My Capricorn is 18 years old and it looks like it’s been through a war zone because the silver matte paint has peeled off over the years. My housekeeper was a bit rough with the...

The horrible truth about central vacuum systems and why every non-Canadian millennial hates them.

I don’t know a single central vac owner who doesn’t also have a conventional vacuum or two. I do know plenty of them who have all said that they save the central vac for cleaning day and not for quick cleanups.

    Gotta ask before purchase......

More good luck with NOS…. This one turned also out to be a winner for me. The seller still has a few left.

    Gotta ask before purchase......

It’s a toss up. I’ve had mixed results with things that were NOS and contained ni-cad batteries. The biggest factor for me is whether or not the product design is such that you can crack it open and get to the battery if it needs replacing. I recently lucked out with one of these can openers...

Hoover Concept One U4119 - Handle Removal Won't Come off

Not to mention The potential for a negative feedback from the buyer if he’s unable to put it back together.

Regina Duo-Vac - Value for Pristine Example?

I was also thinking mid-70’s I only saw one in person once at a Service Merchandise in 1977.

Regina Duo-Vac - Value for Pristine Example?

Duo Vac nozzle I’ve always been curious if this nozzle actually had a fan intake like the so called tandem air power nozzle? Or is it just the Brush n Beat body with a motorized shaft driving the brush?

Regina Duo-Vac - Value for Pristine Example?

If you’re here asking for opinions on the selling price….. I’m sure you’ll get low ball answers, especially from anyone here who would want to acquire the machine. What you need to do is decide if it’s more important for you to make a profit than to simply just sell it. If you’d like make a...

    Kirby rug shampoo

This should work fine with the B8 I mentioned this product earlier because of its instructions for using in a dry foam generator and the fact that Kirby’s setup acts as one. It has instructions for conventional shampooing and encapsulation cleaning as well.

    Kirby rug shampoo

Dry foam formulas A few years ago when I still had a G3 and rug renovator attachment, I took a gamble and tried Diversey Dry Foam Shampoo and Encapsulation Cleaner. I was interested in the fact that the dirt is “encapsulated” in a fast drying polymer and not just trapped in the dried shampoo...

    Dirt Devil HEPA bags?

Ebay I saw a few options packaged as “allergy media bags” and in the Filtrete brand, nothing that actually says “HEPA”.

    VLM Carpet Cleaning/Dry Foam Shampoo

I’ve seen it done with terry cloth bonnets. You might also want to look into microfiber pads. Some years ago I was able to find microfiber pads worked with my Orbiter plastic backing plate that is used with the other pads. I’ve attached a link to their website. https://www.swedeclean.com

    VLM Carpet Cleaning/Dry Foam Shampoo

VLM… Also known as encapsulation I love the products from this company and they’ve been very helpful to me. You can call and tell them what piece of equipment you’re working with and they’ll advise on which product to use. I will say, the bristles on the Orbiter carpet brush might not be the...

    Miele Guard series

The hose…… It’s still too short for my liking. This will drive me straight to the Sebo dealer.

What is the “What Were They Thinking?!” Product of the vacuum world?

I tried one on an my Olympia One once. That noise was outrageous! They should’ve called it the “Flatu-laire” . LOL

    What vacuum is this?

Not the first Texas vacuum shop to be “anti-collector”. I’ve run into 3 old established dealerships in other parts of Texas and the owners just aren’t interested in selling machines from their graveyard. An owner of a Kirby dealership flat out told me that he’s seen what Scott and Fetzer...

    Clean Obsessed "Electrolux"

I’m just talking about the Lux as a daily driver I’m perfectly content to make do with one power nozzle, but I’ve paired it with other power nozzles plenty of times. I know Metro makes great machines because I’ve got their 2 speed blower. I will say that it’s quite loud, so I hope their...

    Clean Obsessed "Electrolux"

Those metal bodied Luxes are immortal…. I think they’re still fairly relevant to today’s vacuuming needs The only improvements I would add would be some of those easy glide urethane wheels, upgraded filtration and some sort of telescopic quick connect metal wands that would attach to a swivel...
