Wanted Electrolux Guardian/Renaissance or Aerus lux 9000

I have a Renaissance in the process of being cleaned for resale. Send me an email and we can work from there.

Where do people get off with their prcing?

My favorite is when someone tries to sell a vacuum for the same price that mine sold for. If I sell a machine that was cleaned and has new parts for $150, someone will post the same vacuum for the same price. Usually, they're dirty with broken parts, cuts in the cord, broken belts, and hair all...

    Electrolux Renaissance Hose Handle

Update: I talked to Bill and he sent out a used top cover from a junk hose and a dusting brush that I also needed for a great price. They were great to deal with. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

PART # FOR BOTTOM PLATE FOR HOOVER 700

That machine is not worth $120. Judging by the horrible quality photos, I'm willing to bet there's a crack in the base of the machine which would render it useless. You're also going to spend another $25-40 on a bottom plate. I sell used Convertibles for that price, but they have been...

Finally found the *best* vacuum for my cleaning business! Sharp Twin Energy

The Cirrus, Airway and Prolux uprights come from the same factory. You might also consider the Perfect Dual Motor uprights since they have a geared belt instead of a stretch belt. They appear to be made by whoever makes them for Aerus and Lavex nowadays.

    Hoover/Oreck Canister Wheel Needed

I need one rear wheel for my Hoover Quiet Performance Model SH30050. Specifically, the canister unit itself. They also branded the machine under Oreck and it was called the Venture. Color doesn't matter as long as it fits. I've tried Kenmore wheels and they were either too big or too small...

    Sebo Softcase CE12 in USA!

I'm glad to see some new competition come to the lightweight market. Other than Oreck and the Riccar Supralite, there's really no other options unless you count the Perfect P110 which is private labeled for Bissell Commercial as well. The Supralite exists under at least 10 brands. Sebo will be...

    Electrolux Renaissance Hose Handle

I have the same hose as shown in the picture below and am looking for a button sheet if possible. All the buttons work and nothing cuts out when the handle is swiveled. I tried calling my Aerus dealer and they said no parts are available for it whatsoever. I'm curious if they ever made the...

Here’s an oddball: Royal “Procision Lite”

WOW! I had no idea these existed. Pretty cool concept. I assume these didn't survive well?

    18in Hoover Conquest Bag Conversion

Very nice indeed! I still need to find a Conquest to use my spare brushroll and outer bag with. I had a beige 18" unit that I sold many years ago. It's a beast for sure.

    here's one !

BOJACK ALERT! I actually have some of those belt lifter decals from a former vac shop lol.

Help with a hoover 700 motor.

If the arcing goes around the circumference of the commutator, then the armature is likely toast. It's easier to tell if I saw a video. As for the speed thing, you're running the motor unloaded. You need to have the fan attached for it to run at the proper speed.

(2013) Fuller Brush Tidy Maid model FBTM-PW.4

I don't think there is a pedal on those machines. You just push down on the cleaner head to recline it like on a Dyson or Electrolux Upright.

Vintage Eureka vacuum and Clarke commercial vacuum

Those Bissell uprights are NOT made by Sanitaire or Eureka. They're made by company out of New York called Perfect. They make the Electrolux clone canisters and the P105 commercial canister which is basically a mighty mite on steroids. Notice how they have swivel cord hooks and the height knobs...

    My first Panasonic

I've heard great things about the Clean Obsessed brand of bags. Otherwise, Riccar type A bags should fit, but don't quote me on that. They offer paper and HEPA. In regards to the Hoover situation, Hoover sold the clean air design to Panasonic before unveiling the Concept One in 1978. So you're...

    Possible purchase

It's a great upright for the money. The only thing I don't like is that it uses a button lock to hold the handle in place instead of a screw.

What Hoover Upright Would This Bag Fit?

Looks like that goes to an early pixie. Hard to tell though.

Back cover screw on Kirby G6

That brass insert on the screw is supposed to be in the back plate that the pedal is a part of. If the pedal fell off and you took the unit apart, you may as well replace the pedal. The newer ones don't have a brass insert and they give you a coarse thread screw instead...

Help finding a fan for Hoover Elite II

Those fans are interchangeable. When they discontinued the 7 blade one, the 11 blade fan took its place.

Third party hose replacenment for a Kirby 510

Not for nothing, but why would you be using a 510 with a hose? If anything, the suction on the Heritage II would be far superior. I used to have the mindset of using old because new stuff is junk. That was before I realized how many good vacuum manufacturers are still out there making quality...
