Does anyone know how to repair a Shark?

That's the cool part, you don't! Seriously, they're unrepairable.

    Another small haul

It's a Phillips design I believe, hence 'DutchTech'

I'm surprised California hasn't outlawed central vacuum systems yet

You guys really do get angry over your own imaginations, huh.

If you owned Hoover, what changes would you make?

I'm not convinced that reviving long dead machines would work well - it happened once with the Constellation and it flopped miserably. What we as collectors need to see is that what we want is not usually what will sell

Have you seen this vacuum before?

Looks like something I've seen on Alibaba before...

If you owned Hoover, what changes would you make?

As I'm in the UK I would like to bring back some bagged uprights and really push bagged cleaners, maybe an advertising campaign against bagless? Also probably rebrand an Oreck Elevate as a 'Hoover Junior' to tide the company over until we can launch our own designs. What would you do? :p

How did bag-check indicators work on direct air vacuums?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I was just wondering how bag-check indicators worked on direct air vacuums? I understand how they work on clean-air machines, but I imagine the dirty fan system would've made it more complex. Any ideas?

A rarity and fine piece of Hoover history...

I'm sure it's fine, nobody would know unless you said

    Why Tacony SUCKS nowadays.

They got it right with the features and marketing, not the reliability. If they wanted their machines to last longer they should start using better cyclones that don't chuck half the dust into the motor

Any info on this weird vac?

It looked like it had early Shark genes!

Any info on this weird vac?

I found this machine while browsing Alibaba and was wondering if anyone knows about these weird little things and if any have been produced under any brands. It's an upright with a retractable cable and tools, but it's straight suction. Also, the company that made this made the Goblin Topo. Of...

    Toy Hoover Turbopower

Did this work like the old push-along Juniors with the friction motor?

Shopping for a new bagless upright - Which one is best?

There's a bagged Kenmore lift-away, made by the same company that produce Sharks I believe

    Hoover Windtunnel Bagged UH30650

This is a facelifted Hoover Tempo. It's nothing special but I'm still very jealous of you Americans; in the UK we only have 1 (yes ONE!) budget bagged upright on the market :/

What's a vacuum you shouldn't like but really do?

For me it's the Dyson DC03. It may have weak suction and an odd design, but in my experience it picks up really well, and it's just a great everyday cleaner. What's your 'illegal' favourite vacuum?

Any new info about the Air-Way Ultra Kleen?

I've seen that machine on Alibaba! Unbranded of course
