    dial set Olympia One

Antoine, here is a Vacuumland thread containing the Electrolux Olympia One owners manual. It has the information you need on how to set the Automatic Control dial. https://www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?7098

Aerus LLC (Electrolux USA) 100th Anniversary Models?

Rob Shore - Don't know if you were aware of this, but when the black 90th Anniversary models came out in 2014, the powerheads received a new belt and brushroll pulley that mates with the belt. The belts have more teeth in them now. The old belts were "Kenmore Style" cogged belts and the new ones...

Aerus LLC (Electrolux USA) 100th Anniversary Models?

Guys, I have said it before and will say it again - Joseph P Urso has RUINED Electrolux! All he has ever done since he bought Electrolux is strip-mine the company of it's assets, and buy new companies to use their technologies and products to sell under the Aerus brand name rather than create...

    Bagged Lightweight Shark

There was a blue version of that vacuum sold under the "Lancaster" brand in Canadian Tire stores here in Canada. I think sometime between 2010 to 2015? It was their in-house discount appliance brand.

HEPA/Synthetic bag with 1 7/8 inch dia opening?

Broomvac, I have to wonder if the HEPA Cloth bags for the Perfect Commercial upright (Sanitaire clone) would fit and work? It's the same size opening as the Royal B bag, for the Royal Metal uprights, and that looks pretty much the same size opening as the Dirt Devil D bag. Also, back years...

3D printed Hoover 20 blade fan

Vacuumman - A metal fan in a Hoover Elite? That would be awesome if one could be 3D Printed and made for those uprights! The increase in performance and durability would be noticeable. And just imagine, a metal fan might just give it the same performance as a Kirby or Royal Metal upright with...

    I found a Mighty Mite!

Barry - Don't buy that tool holder on Amazon, they're charging about DOUBLE what the normal price is if you walked into a vac shop. David/Suckolux - This version of the Mighty Mite that uses the MM bags did originally use the upright motor that the Eureka Victory uprights used. There is a...

    The Ezee VIDEO

David, that was a nice video. And you did a great job restoring the Ezee - Jim Kirby would be proud of you for sure! Thanks for posting this and your wonderful website.

Anyone looking for a Penncrest A117? Heres one for sale.

Kenny - You know perfectly well the constant drama that surrounds Luke, Tom and all the collectors in the Facebook groups. Last time I checked, you were in that inner circle too. So don't dare try to deny it. I personally haven't checked those groups out in YEARS....can't be bothered. Life is...

Anyone looking for a Penncrest A117? Heres one for sale.

I can tell you the reason the Penncrest is so outrageously priced - the seller is Luke Gebhart - his username on here is ohiovac. Same as his Ebay handle. He is one of Tom Gasko's clique, and all the drama that goes on with that crowd. Best to be avoided entirely! I would bet good money Tom...

    Electrolux Renaissance Hose Handle

Epic 8000 parts Mike, if the Renaissance hose parts truly are NLA, you should be able to convert a Renny into a Epic 8000. I would bet the circuit board the Epic 8000 uses should fit into the same place on the Renny....the body is identical except for color and very minor changes. And you...

Here’s an oddball: Royal “Procision Lite”

Huskyvacs - I agree, it was really stupid of TTI to rebadge Hoover's and Dirt Devils as Royal models, and it likely harmed Royal's reputation in consumers eyes. Especially rebadging the Featherlite, when it was a model in later years known for using cheap aluminum wiring in the motor field coils...

    Tristar CS Motor Followup

Brian, I would use the 6500-298 motor. I have used it in my Lux 9000 that's custom built, and I also have the Ametek Advantek Perfect C101 motor in my 1992 Kenmore EVPC. It pulls about 125" waterlift. My experience with both these motors is that you MUST have some kind of suction control in...

    Shark advice please?

Barry, do you have Princess Auto in your country? If so, go down there and get yourself a set of long security screwdriver bits. And yes, they do have the hole in the security Torx bit. You will have to use a handle with them, but these aren't the short ones that you would have to use a...

    Post Christmas mini meet

John, you be nice to Will and his shiny shoes! I personally have a cool pair of black DC runners that I found at Value Village about 15 years ago, and they're pretty slick. They're the shoes I wear when I am out on a date - they ALWAYS get a compliment or 2.

    Eureka Type H bags

Hoover Type S HEPA Cloth Bags I have never seen a Eureka H bag available for the metal canisters. However, the Eureka B bag also fits those vacuums, and it's a square bag. The Hoover Type S HEPA Cloth bags for the Futura/Dimension/Windtunnel canisters are basically about the same size, so what...

Vintage Eureka vacuum and Clarke commercial vacuum

Repairman Mike, correct, the Bissell uprights pictured are made by Perfect and are Sanitaire clones. However, they are JUNK! Poorly built motors in them with short lifespans before dying and having to be scrapped. I remember back when these uprights were first introduced, Sanitaire had a...

    Heritage and heritage 84

Accessories As for the optional accessories available to purchase, I may be mistaken but wasn't the Turbobrush discontinued & replaced with the Zippbrush late into the run of the Heritage 84? Plus I would bet the optional hair clipper set also was discontinued with the start of the Heritage 84...

Help! Need to find a Black and Decker belt

Jake, from looking at that Ebay photo, I would be willing to bet a Hoover Celebrity powerhead belt would probably fit and work. Those are still easy to find at vac shops and reasonably priced. The Dirt Devil Style 3 Can Vac powerhead belt may also work too.

    "Centra-Clean II" Power Nozzle

GE Powerhead That's the old General Electric designed powerhead, which originated back in the late 60's on the General Electric & Premier canisters. When Filter Queen bought the rights to the design, GE still used it in Canada for years with this newer style hood. The design has also been used...
