    The $1,000,000 Vacuum Cleaner

If I Were Rich... ...and it was a gold-plated reproduction of a Kirby 560, I may bite. Nah! Hello and welcome from Portland Oregon! :)

So I Splurged Over the Weekend

Nope. It has a new belt and brush roll in it and a good fan. The mats I have and my particular carpet is a challenge for anything. Compound that with the Poms, and I hold nothing against my Kirby. My setup is an exceptional case.

So I Splurged Over the Weekend

I agree! I used it again tonight, and it gets everything in one pass. That's saying a lot considering it takes two or three with the Kirby Classic. The Electrolux 1205 never could get everything off the dark brown commercial mat in my entry. One pass with the Kenmore and it was pristine...

What Would You Be Willing To Pay if You Weren't a Collector?

Probably what I pay now...LOL. I wouldn't give more than $30 for a used model (more depending on condition). New? Maybe $150, give or take.

So I Splurged Over the Weekend

I have 5 little dogs, 2 of them being Poms (they shed mercilessly). I have been using a Bissell Powerforce Bagged Upright as my daily driver, and a little Hoover Canister for above the floor stuff. I have a Kirby Classic Omega in great shape, but it's not as good on pet hair as the Bissell...

Looking for Dyson demo videos that show the reality of Dyson

I am not a fan of Dyson, but I say the best vacuum cleaner out there is one with a willing arm attached to it. If he loves his Dyson, let him love his Dyson. :)

    Buying Used Kirby

Hello and Welcome I am back from a long time away, but any of the G series should be a nice and powerful cleaner for what you need. I would also check your vac shops locally, I have seen G3 and G4's with a 30-90 day warranty from the vac shops around here for as low as $90 or so. Another...
