All cleaned up I just finished putting it all back together.I had to repaint the inside and out side of the vacuum.I also to the motor apart and cleaned the impellers, checked the bearings and carbon brushes.I don't think this was use to much because everything was pretty clean in the motor.I...

I received my compact the other day. I got it off of eay for $44.50 w/shipping. I've taken it apart and going over everything.As soon as I put it back together and get all cleaned up I'll take some moe pictures of it. Mike

When I get it. I'll take pictures of it before and after.I always like doing a once over on any vacuums that I get. You never know what might be missing or broken till Ya take it apart and examine everything.(even though they say it runs strong or like new) Thanks again, Mike

Yes there electrolux stamped on the arm and it does have rubber boot between the motor and impellers housing. Thanks, Mike

Hi, I'm new here and was wondering if any has or knows of a replacement motor for my electrolux lx? I've looked around and can't find any that looks like it.The motor has 6500-11 stamped on it and has 3 mounting holes.Any help would be appreciated.
