The man in that lived in this house was a real pack rat.......the box of sweeper parts were amoung all these boxes.....

Back in the house I had started to set up for an estate sale, a couple of weeks later and all refreshed from last weeks sale......I started some serious basement hunting for more treasures........and finally found these.........

I found items from at least 4 different models of Hoovers from this same house. But all the vacs had long since been thrown out, while keeping the attachments, boxes, owners manuals, etc. I believe that the attachments that belong in this box should have been white in color. They were definately...

Tom, I mentioned to you that I found a Concept One......at our favorite thrift store.........here it is, up and running. These are really great cleaners. Hoover scored a good design with these models........

This was the vac that was currently being used in the house.....a Singer with the cord winder on it......I love these vacs as they (loudly) work very well, but I know some people cant stand them.......

Must have been a set with the looooooong Hoover hose........

Tom, here are the Hoover attachements I was telling you about, that I found last week........no vacuum was in this house, but LOTS of Hoover attachements, owners manuals........I guess they must have thown the vacs away years ago..........I think this set is from about 1959 or 1960?

Hi Tom, Had hoped you could have stopped by while I was working in this house.......I wanted to surprise you and Jeff with all the vacuum related items in this house..... and send some of them home with you! I got most of them here now, so they are still available......it would have been fun...

Yes, the Magnavox is fabulous. I will be keeping that set for myself, not sure about the Stromberg Carlson tho.... Im still finding more vacuum related material in this house.......Gene is coming for the washer and dryer tomorrow...I will be posting more pics of the finds as I go.....

There is also a vintage washer and dryer in this house. Im meeting with one of the members from the washer group today and we are moving the set out.......A great vintage find from 1972 will soon be owned by an Ohio member who I know will put it to good use! .......more to come as we uncover...

While we are still unpacking and digging out in this house.......it appears the person might have worked for more than one vacuum company........

One of my crew found this and started screaming.......I thought she had uncovered something that was still alive and crawling.......This is very heavy and very interesting.....has many models of Electrolux vacuum images cast on the plate...........
