    Electrolux Trivac 2102

Here is their description of the “stick.” I wouldn’t think that the Trivac would clog much.

    My first Hoover Convertible

I’ve never used or had a Hoover Convertible, but I think it’s a staple in a vacuum collection. I found this Convertible at the right price, it appears to be from 1987(the serial number starts as 1187). The Convertibles from the 1960s are my favorite, but they’re hard to find in good condition...

Will a Eureka F&G machine belt fit a later Hoover Convertible?

I have plenty of F&G belts, would they fit a later model Hoover Convertable or is it better to get the Hoover belt?

Thoughts on Lindhaus Diamante and Comparison with Sebo

I had originally ordered a new Diamante back in February 2025, but due to a long delay I purchased the X4. I’m definitely glad I did not pay the MRSP for the Diamante. The Diamante definitely possesses the usually high Lindhaus quality, but it also carries the complaints I have with their...

    Lindhaus help

I received an essentially NOS 2002 Lindhaus Diamante yesterday and the brush roller or belt seems to be making an odd noise. I do not have any dealers nearby, thus I’m going to this knowledge base. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I did put some triflow on the right bearing. I’ve...

    Royal 880

I’ve had this Royal 880 for about 13 years. What light bulb is anyone using in this? I currently have a 15w in that does not work. Secondly, what oil is anyone putting in the oil port? Lastly, is there anything I can apply to the bag to help preserve it? I’ve decided to dust off my Royal this...

Choosing the vacuum for a given cleaning session

It appears that choosing which machine to use hasn’t been discussed in several years. If I buy a machine brand new I will usually have a period of time that I use it exclusively, until I want to use something different. I have been trying to use one of the newer machines each time I vacuum. If...

    Thoughts on Rainbow Rainmate

I ordered the Rainmate to hopefully use as a humidifier and add some fragrance. I did not buy the Rainmate for their “air purifier,” I have a descent Filter Queen Defender. I’ve thrown every humidifier away that I’ve ever had, as they usually grow mildew even after cleaning as throughly as...

    Sebo D4 One Month Update

I figured I would give a one month update on my D4, after someone of my initial criticisms. I will start with my lasting or new criticisms: Power cord should be grey (all of the accents are grey, the black is out of place), one touch cord rewind would be nice for the long cord, cord reel is a...

    Did some holiday cleaning

I chose to use the Spirit to pickup the Duo powder, since the bag is near full. The Spirit is awful for picking up powder, it went all over the body of the vacuum, I still must clean the spirit. Both my Spirit and Healthcare had a relatively full bag, guess I should have went with the Healthcare!

    Favorite Modern Hardfloor Tool

There are more floor brushes that are produced, so the poll is not fully representative. I listed some of the most common nozzles in the poll. I have found the Wessel Werk twister to be my favorite, it seems to get around things very well.

Power Nozzles for Central vac or Canister

Now that I have experienced all of the premium power nozzles currently in production, I have formed my top pick. Overall for quality I would choose the Lindhaus or Sebo. When choosing based upon personal preference I would choose the Sebo. Both the Sebo and Lindhaus are nimble, but I like some...

    Miele customer moved to Sebo

Well in an effort to preserve my Miele S8 Unique, the Black Friday sale got me and I will now have a Sebo D4. Miele really left their customers in a tough spot, as they no longer offer a model with handle controls and the better 236 nozzle. Overall the Unique has been very reliable, the only...

    Carpet or Hardfloors

Anyone else prefer carpet? A certain someone wanted mainly all hard floors in our house, and I like carpet even more now. Hard floors look nice but they are a lot more work than carpet. With hard floors it’s a cycle of vacuum then mop all the floors. I much prefer carpet, where you can vacuum...

    General Carpet Cleaning

What method do you prefer for general maintenance cleaning? I previously preferred the Kirby shampoo, but it can be time consuming for large rooms. My preferred method is the Sebo duo powder, it seems to remove anything I want removed. I also appreciate that Sebo claims that the Duo powder...

    Miele cheapened the 236

I seen this video from Vacmaster 1991 on YouTube, and it appears that the 236 has changed. I bought a 236 last year and mine was made in Poland, but it still has a bumper. It appears that Miele has removed the bumper from the 236, and the lease appears to be smoked.

    Well Another One

Well Kirby number 3! It appears to be in good shape, I got it for $40, not bad for a Kirby.

    Another brilliant consumer

This was on Market place. This shows the average consumers lack of knowledge on basic things about a vacuum. I’m not sure where the seller thinks that the Hoover elite hose would plug into? Not to mention, the seller believes that this is not”even a year old”, this is over a decade old.

Lindhaus Healthcare Pro Hepa Cloth Bags

I have been told that Hepa bags are available for the Healthcare pro. I called my Dealer today, and he said that the factory only lists the paper bags. I did come across the DH3 bags that are hepa cloth, but are for the Valzar. Where do you get your genuine Lindhaus hepa cloth bags?

    Vacuum store visit

I will give an update on my X4 repair, but I did get to try the Dart, Softcase, and Felix. The Softcase was nice to use, and the display wasn’t overly loud. The dealer told me that they had several Softcases that were overly loud. I think that if they added a longer cord and a handle power...
