    Electrolux Epic 6500

Thanks for the info! I can't wait to get this vacuum. I've always wanted an Electrolux canister. I have an upright (Aerus), but when I think of Electrolux I think of canisters. I also like that this vacuum is pre-Aerus.

    Electrolux Epic 6500

Hey guys, Could anyone tell me how old this Electrolux is, or what year it came out? Thanks! Michael http://www.ebay.com/itm/Electrolux-Epic-6500-Cleaner-/131205529467?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=C5Q0L7A2xTBvraIOH8xzVpZQk8Q%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

    1970s/80s Eureka Vacuum

Would anyone happen to have a 1970s or 80s, or know someone who is selling, a Eureka ESP? No color-scheme preference. I would really love to have one of these in my collection. Thanks, guys!

    Childhood vac

Elite and Fury! Are the two childhood vacuums I distinctly remember. We had a burgandy Hoover Elite (identical to the one in Mrs. Doubtfire). Then we got a Fantom Fury (the one with the green handle-grip). I was obsessed with the Fury. I would always watch the instructional video on it haha. My...

    Need Advice/Suggestions!!

Hey Guys, I need a little bit of help. I have my eye on a blue Hoover Convertible Estate and a burgandy/white Hoover Convertible U4387. I'm trying to decide on which one to purchase for my collection. I will use it, of course, but it will mainly be for "looks". I would like some feedback on...

    Kirby G3

I agree about the tech drive on the Kirby's. My G5 started clicking in neutral and had to replace the cam bracket. That's good to know about the G3. Definitely helps with my decision. I also love the crisp, clean color of the white.

    Kirby Legend II

Thanks for the welcome/advice guys! Dan: that's a really good idea about polishing the sole plate. I decided to get it rebuilt and am sending it out tomorrow. When I get it back I'll put an extra polish on it. I'm surprised at how quiet it is!

    Kirby G3

I've been on this Kirby kick lately. I'm considering purchasing a rebuilt Kirby G3. This vacuum is significant because it was one of the first Kirbys I actually got to see in person as a kid. I was at a friend's birthday party, and his mom had it sitting out because she had to vacuum before the...

    Kirby Legend II

Kirby Legend II Ah, thanks so much for your input. I was afraid it was mainly the carpet. It's unfortunate because the carpet and rugs in my house are more on the thicker side. It goes to show how much one takes the self-propelled feature for granted haha. I wanted to make the Legend II my main...

    Kirby Legend II

Hey Everyone, I'm fairly new here...well, posting-wise. I'm usually on this site at least every other day. I'm hoping to get some advice. I recently came across a Kirby Legend II. This machine has always been my favorite pre-G Series model. I've always wanted one and finally got it! My question...
