Thank you all for your responses! There is a stripped screw and I don’t have the equipment to remove it. I’m going to call my local vac store tomorrow for an estimate to replace the bearings. (They specialize in Kirby vacs and I have used them before.)

I recently bought a DS80 at red racks. I have cleaned it up and polished it. However, it is making a terrible squeaking sound as the motor winds down after being turned of. Any ideas on how to fix it? Also the bag is pretty faded and I wondered Of any knows where I could find another. Thanks!
