1975 Sears ‘Finest’ Kenmore Kwik Sweep Vacuum

This is not one you see very often. Cute little Oreck type machine. Only took me six years to find a fan… lol. Was very dirty and gross. Many thanks to ChicagoMike (the nicest guy!) for doing the amazing powder coating on all of the metal parts. Kyle Kutlik (another amazing guy) gave me the...

    Another Hoover Model 700 Restoration

Thanks all! The old Hoovers are some of the most fun to redo. So well made, and a great final product after all is done with them! Brandon- the bumper is a 22” rubber tie down strap from eBay. If you buy like five or more, you get them for about 1.50 each. I could not restore some of these...

    Hoover Windtunnel 2 bagged upright?

I had this one for a while And it was also two motors with a Brushroll on/off switch. This was actually kind of a neat machine. Especially once I converted it to use one of the bag chambers.

How to finish an older Hoover

Wipe and leave that finish alone. It appears perfectly in the photo. Don’t change the bumper. Grab a nice foam brush and some acrylic black paint. Both available at Hobby Lobby in a small tube. It is in great shape, and it is plain with the correct width to the original.

    Need Help Repairing Air-Way Chief

I have a spare handle and bag. I would just use a black cord for your cord… bonus points for using a woven wrapped one.

Woo Hoo!!! A Brand New Budget Bagged Upright In The UK!!!

We had these starting about 6-8 years ago as a really cheap offering by Sears/Kmart. They’re very cheap, but I hope you have a great experience with yours! It’s nice to have a bagged option for sure.

    Odd little 1940’s? Premier upright

Restoring this guy. I’ve ever seen one except for a picture posted from the vacuum store in Tennessee. It’s restoring up beautifully…. Only thing left needed is a handle bolt and to apply the new bag lettering.
