    Doug, Yes, this is a 1986 model. I believe your 880 was made in January or February 1986, if you look at the nameplate on the back of the nozzle by the front wheels. ~Ben

    Yes, because the actual motor unit is from a 7 amp model 996, which also explains the toe-touch height adjuster. And, the top half of the handle assembly was from an 886 or 887. ~Ben

    I'd love to find this particular Legend II, but I would like to have mine with not only the smaller 13" head, but also the rarer maroon hammertoned Sani Em-Tor (instead of the black hammertoned) for the shake-out bag. ~Ben
