Hoover Platinum Lightweight Bagged - anyone tried?

Thanks ROb Thanks for the information Rob! I do have two large dogs, so pet hair is a constant problem at my house. I'm still looking for one of these at an affordable rate but feel more confident with a club member's approval.

Anyone know what kind of vac this is?

This is from the show "Kim's Rude Awakenings" from one of the How Clean is Your House? hosts. At 2:30 in the video, there's a vac/renovator I've never seen before. Anyone else know what it is?

Hoover Platinum Lightweight Bagged - anyone tried?

I remember reading a little on a previous thread about the new Hoover Platinum series and am curious if anyone has tried or bought the "lightweight" bagged version. For some reason I'm very fascinated with it right now but can't justify the $399 price tag -- even with the portable that comes...

Sebo Felix The Sebo Felix has been talked about several times on this Forum. I recently purchased one for myself for Christmas and absolutely love the machine. It's lightweight, very easy to manuver (it has a swivel head and turns very easily), has great suction and cleans my berber carpet...

    My Sunbeam!

I know That's the same model I grew up with -- same color scheme and everything. Seeing the pictures on the auction really brought back memories. I remember playing with the carpet attachment at length and picking up any little mess I could. I thought about bidding on the machine but, even in...

    Recent Hoover Acquisitions

Great work! Those turned out terrific Derreck! I recently got a Decade 80 off of Ebay and the decal on it is pretty scratched up, too. Viking Vacuum

I hope so, too! Hi Derreck... Glad that you like your present from Tom G. I hope I can find a handle for mine, too. It looks like it would do a pretty good job on carpet. Does it have good suction? I thought about "hotwiring" it just to see how it performs, but think I'll leave it untouched in...

    Dishwashing Accessories

I've seen several references to collectors washing their accessories (dusting brush, crevice, etc.) in the dishwasher. Are there any guidelines that should be followed? i.e. certain kind of dishwashing detergent, no heat cycle, etc.? Any help would be appreciated :-)

    Windsor Versamtic!!!!

very nice what a great looking machine! How well does it work? We had one at my last job, but the maintenance crew practically destroyed it and they had to replace it twice. I never had the chance to try it out to see what kind of power it has.

    Viking Vacuum

that's me I must admit -- I'm the one that got the Viking upright off of Ebay. I just received it today. What a cool machine! It's a bit smaller than I thought it would be which makes it very unique (at least in my collection). I'm hoping to find another machine on ebay someday that has a...

    Sunbeam vacuums

that's it it looked just like that -- a hoover celebrity look alike with a flat top and bigger wheels on the side. I remember the turbine rug attachment on ours, too. The one I saw on e-bay was stainless steele and a light blue/green -- a beautiful machine. I was so young when we had it I just...
