Hello,
Quick question. A lot of times friends or family need vacuum bags from me. A lot of time I give them envirocare branded bags. Are they as good as the genuine ones?
Thanks

I’ve removed/washed the fan. And I’ve taken it apart and vacuumed it out. It’s a sealed bearing so it can’t be repacked. I spent $4 and bought a new bearing already. It’s a 608-ZZ bearing 7 millimeter diameter.
I have on old dirt devil hand vac with a bad front bearing. I can get a replacement but I don’t know how to remove and replace it. I have no bearing pullers or specialty tools. Would love some advice.
Thanks

I was at savers today,
didn't find much. but I did see this old Redivac hand vacuum. it was only $10 so I decided to buy it. The motor doesn't sound perfect, But it works. Im on my laptop so I can't take pictures. but I found a pic of one similar.
Off the top of my head I don’t remember tons of new vacuum releases. I think the “best” in my opinion was the new Kirby. Another one I thought was interesting was the pencil vac thing by Dyson.
If the fan is damaged I would recommend replacing the motor. People will keep using their vacuum with broken fans and it’ll put stress on the motor. So even after you replace the fan it could still sound loud and off balance.
The issue is there lots of play on the motor, the shaft slides back and forth. I can’t find a motor for sale and I don’t know how to replace the bearings.
