I think it's awesome you are offering the Electrolux. The motor will not turn on without a disposable bag inside. You can open the front door, plug it in, turn the switch on so the light is illuminated, then push the grey button on the inside of the bag door to test that the motor starts.

The model LX (60) is also one of my favorites as it is the first Automatic (1952).
