    Testing ejector fix

Andy It works when I move that lever upward, the door flies open, the motor stops and the bag is ejected about 2 feet. I am trying to get it work automatically.

    Testing ejector fix

Test failed! I fed it the toilet paper and it stopped sucking it, but the ejector did not eject the bag. Not sure why though and what to look at since it has the tube connected on both ends. How can I test if the diaphragm is working or not? I made sure the nipples where the tube connects...

    Testing ejector fix

Thanks Alex I will try it with the toilet paper and see what happens. There is no dial on the underside, just the lever that when you push it up, the ejector works. The tubing was replaced when I did the fix. I am just amazed how much suction there is even though the bag looks and feels like...

Thanks Alex In my search to repair the ejector, that site did return in my search results and I have read it. Interesting! By the way, do you know of a good online site where I can get the 'wrappers" for this LX? I also had to change the rear filter and I just used a felt type material used...

Found Electrolux Model LX - cleaned and fixed ejector

Thanks Alex! I have the instruction manual for this machine. It came with it when I bought it. In answer to your question, I saw Vacuummania's Post# 331598 which there was a link which brought me to Post# 34188 by aeoliandave and he describes the parts in Post# 34431, Reply# 13. The problem...

This is a great site. There was a post on here that showed me how to fix the ejector and I got it to work. Posted a couple of pictures of cleaned up Electrolux Model LX. Works like a charm.
