I think you may want to get a different towel bar (or reuse current), mount it a little above or below where the current one is mounted using toggle bolts, then patch the old holes and paint. Otherwise, find or make wood or metal plates/discs larger than the towel bar mounting fixtures...

I believe it means that if you run a Kirby with very little airflow for long enough (not sure how long it takes to happen) the fan will overheat and warp. It happens most easily on high speed, with the hose inlet blocked. The inflator nozzle only passes a few CFM...not enough to cool the fan...

Nice! I like those early Swivel Tops. They seem better built, more powerful, and quieter than the later squat ones. Is the other wand curved to allow you to use the floor tool at a more normal angle? I believe these would have originally come with the "flip over" rug and floor tool.

Love this! My grandfather taped this episode first and subsequently all the others for me in the early 1990s. I watched those programs over, and over, and over. So glad they are now on YouTube! Including bits that had been cut from the episodes when PBS (I believe) aired them in the states...

I love this style of Royal...the red "bulb shaped" bag, the front and side cord hooks, and the way the cast headlight cowl matches the curve of the nozzle housing. This will be a great but decently quiet performer too...unlike the howling 10+ amp motors they started using a few years later...
