Nope, you would have to be the original owner to get the warranty. Which means you MUST have the original receipt from the store, without a name on it. And of course, that won't work at all if somebody else already registered the vacuum's serial number on the Miele website under their name...

Well, I would say if you are going to wash a vacuum bag, and you don't want colors to bleed, hand wash in cold water with Woolite. I would imagine the detergent you use would cause some of the colors to leech from the fabric, so Woolite would prevent that since it's for washing delicate fabrics...

Finnflo - Miele did use the smaller Dupro powerhead years ago, on the 1980's models. Does Miele still stock a belt for it? Even if they don't, surely a Miele dealer out there somewhere would know what belt to substitute for the genuine belt and be able to sell you that.
