Electrolux Epic 6500 SR Motor Replacement

Cheesewonton, that is NOT the case! Electromotor VERY CLEARLY states on their site that the motors are "made in the USA with globally sourced components" , meaning most likely Chinese components with final assembly at Piney Flats, Tennessee.

Italian Industrial Floor Care Company called Eureka

Well, that certainly is a interesting company! I am surprised with how similar the logo is that Electrolux AB didn't try to force them to change their name or sue them for copyright infringement.

Brand New Miele sale, several models

Nope, you would have to be the original owner to get the warranty. Which means you MUST have the original receipt from the store, without a name on it. And of course, that won't work at all if somebody else already registered the vacuum's serial number on the Miele website under their name...

Brand New Miele sale, several models

Joe886, why would anyone buy a Miele from you and give up their warranty?! You might want to lower those prices a bit more....

Bissell Butler Revolution Running Be Like...

Very nice! I do remember that machine quite well. And the original Bissell Butler canister was quite popular here in Canada, probably because it was a low priced straight suction canister sold in Zellers. Bissell's canisters were made for them under contract by Samsung. I found one that I took...

Clear backed kenmore bags on ebay

Yup, that would be me Devin. I have left a few comments on your testing videos in the last few months. If you wanna talk sometime, send me a message here ok.

Clear backed kenmore bags on ebay

Devin, good luck with the sale. Those bags are really neat! I have to wonder if this was Kenmore's answer to Envirocare Technologies and their micro-filtration paper bags with the clear strip in the middle to view how full the bag was? I won't be buying any, as I don't need them. But I saved...

"American Home Princess"; aka Filter Queen for Japan market

Hmm, very interesting! As for the vacuum's working rate, what it DOES NOT tell, and makes it pretty much irrelevant, is that the Filter Queen, with all it's variants, loses it's suction & airflow VERY QUICKLY because of the cellulose filter cone set-up. I have found, and Durango159 said on here...

    Sebo X4 Hard to Push

SeboU1 - Glad you figured out that a clogged bag and reduced airflow caused your issue with the Sebo clamping down to the rug. However, I have another solution you can try next time without changing the bag. If you have the problem of a bag with clogged pores, causing reduced airflow, here's...

Main Equivalency! Which one would you take?

Not so fast there, Cheesewonton! Filter Queen would take 1st place for best filtration back in the old days, along with Electrolux. There was a study done in the early 90s by a American university that showed that the Rainbow D4 only captured about 40% of the exhaust emissions it produces...

hola estoy vendiendo una SANYO robo npc1 japonesa

How to wash Royal Hand Vac bags?

Well, I would say if you are going to wash a vacuum bag, and you don't want colors to bleed, hand wash in cold water with Woolite. I would imagine the detergent you use would cause some of the colors to leech from the fabric, so Woolite would prevent that since it's for washing delicate fabrics...

Best and worst aftermarket brand of bags?

One brand I have grown to dislike is Envirocare. Their Miele FJM and GN generic bags are absolute garbage! Poor quality HEPA Cloth material that clogs easily, and the rubber seal breaks off the collar too. Their other bags are definitely sourced, you can tell from looking at them. And they are...

Victor v9 tub vac with powerhead

Finnflo - Miele did use the smaller Dupro powerhead years ago, on the 1980's models. Does Miele still stock a belt for it? Even if they don't, surely a Miele dealer out there somewhere would know what belt to substitute for the genuine belt and be able to sell you that.

Victor v9 tub vac with powerhead

Cheesewonton, the Tecnica brushroll is still available through Hibbert International here in Canada. https://www.hibbert.ca/buy/product/xtc003-tecnica/11850?ID=/Agitator-Rollers-Inserts/Rollers/dept-2BM Also, for the Samsung powerhead, if it's the first one with the metal bottom plate that...

    Filter Queen M11NA

:Performance Reviews did modify a Filter Queen Optima to take Numatic Henry bags by attaching a Henry bag tube. I think he likely left the Filter Queen side on the front though to still use the Filter Queen hose and attachments. If you had a Filter Queen Optima that originally took the paper...

Thoughts on the Sebo Balance A1 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner?

Yup, and that clogging pleated HEPA Filter before the motor? No thanks! Why would I pay a hefty price for that when I can just buy a Chinese clone on Amazon that has that same style filter before the motor?!

    Pick your poison: Main equivalency!

Absolute Rainbow - For me, the reason I chose Samsung is because, unlike Dyson, their cyclone is washable! For me, that is a HUGE ISSUE! I knew someone who asked me to take apart and clean their Dyson V6 cyclone....it was really dirty and musty smelling. That was easy to take apart and do. But...

Ya, I noticed the pic of the day was gone this morning too! One other thing that has gone missing is the Archives....Alan said he would be bringing it back and was working on it, but so far it's still missing :(
