Hi gareth, i like the Hoover and the Electrolux 504, I also have one, but the Lower bearing is dry and the fans cant get off so im not using it, but a very nice machine. The Hoover is also nice it almost looks like the one on Queens Ive got to break free music video. You amaze me every time...

oh ok.i thought it may have been the field coils or armature that burnt out. Ive got a spare armature, field coil and carbon brushes.if you ever may need it.

My Electrolux Z302 Heres the pic of my Electrolux Z302 it used to have a grey power cord but it burned out a few times in its life so the power cord was used for something else. I had the motor rewinded and now i cant get a grey cord anywhere.the accesories are packed away.
