    Electrolux Brush Roll Improvements?

I have 2 of the 3 row brush rolls but it's been a long time since I've seen one available. None are still made to my knowledge. I only change brush rolls when the brushes wear down. I don't find they get that much softer, unless they've gotten wet or very hot... depending on whether they are...

    Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum

The Classic and Legacy are pre-Aerus... with some tweaks: better motors being the most notable.

    Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum

DJub85, I'm not offended, I was just offering up information. I started my last reply before your post to D-T so it all got a bit confusing.   I am not a fan of the GP in it's entirety. I hate the bags and the way they get pushed into the chamber due to the lack of a lip to hold the...

    Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum

DJub85,   Nobody claims it's made in US. I stated it's made in the EU. The first Lux Intelligence was not sold here, but Aerus was involved in it's development - there were many, many issues with it and that is why the Guardian Ultra was introduced as a stop-gap... the new GP wasn't ready...

    My Lux Collection

DJub85, Aerus was involved with the design and development of the Platinum in collaboration with Lux International from the beginning. There were more than 'finishing touches' done by Aerus engineers. It's by no means perfect, but it would have taken many more years to develop from scratch in...

    Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum

The Guardian Platinum is a joint venture between Aerus and Lux International. It was co-designed and developed. It is manufactured in the EU, except for the hose, wands, tools and PN which are made in Bristol VA and the SideKick III made in Asia. The Aerus unit is slightly different than the Lux...

The WORST vacuum cleaners, Ever made. In History.

the generic stuff I bought is the same; wash, rinse and reuse.... it gets cheaper by the minute. Next order I make I'll order you a sheet and send it to you, I would like to hear what you think of it vs. the Electrolux/Eureaka material. 4 times as much material for roughly the same price. I...

    Replacement hose for Electrolux 1205

There are great, good and frankly, awful aftermarket hoses. The best ones look just like genuine ones except they have the switch and sliding suction control... they even use the same hose stock.

The WORST vacuum cleaners, Ever made. In History.

the charcoal filters are available for every machine, including R and U bag users. I have them in some of my machines but I've lately tried some 24" x 24" bulk filter material and made my own afterfilters (*thanks D-T for the idea) and at $5 a sheet, it's dirt cheap and very effective in any of...

    Aerus/Electrolux USA 90th?

There are elephants on the handle grip of the Model V which can be seen on Charles-Richard Lester's site at the below link.     Tigers are very prevalent on award items since they were referring to the sales team and not an individual product. I've seen hundreds of awards, plaques, and...

    Electrolux Brush Roll Improvements?

Genuine parts are only sold by Aerus or it's franchise. Electrolux did make parts available outside for a short while. The exact dates are debated. NOS brush rolls are out there. In my experience, the aftermarket brush rolls are as good or very nearly as good as the originals and at least 50%...

The WORST vacuum cleaners, Ever made. In History.

The only Aerus vacuums which claim HEPA filtration are the Lux Guardian Platinum canister(double HEPA), Lux Guardian upright, Lux Guardian Ultra canister and the Lux Guardian canister.  The HEPA filter from the Guardian Ultra will fit on the Legacy. Epic 7000, Epic 6500 and Epic 6000, however...

    My Lux Collection

I like all the lux machines, past and present. However, I do prefer the metal tanks for their quiet performance. I do love my Platinum though, the first truly quiet plastic bodied canister, but it isn't without issues, too much complicated circuitry and with all the filters it makes a horrible...
