    Thanks for the suggestions. As far as replacement hose is concerned, is vacuum hose vacuum hose, or are some types better than others? Reason I ask is that my dad does a lot of woodworking, and I'm pretty sure the old hose is thrashed because of sharp chunks of wood that get vacuumed up. I...
