I have a Bison that I repaired and it currently only runs at full speed. My best guess is that it has something to do with the transistor being damage. However, in your case, since the light ramps up instead of the motor, I feel like some of the wires got swapped, but I can't verify this.

My best guess is that they ground down the flange in front of the fan case to make it accept the head from a D50/D80.

Les I don't have a belt lifter. What would you consider to be a fair price?

I was recently able to get a Royal 888-type machine with a hose, but no nozzle. Does anyone have a spare nozzle they are willing to sell or know of someone who may have one? Thanks.

Belt I would assume that it would use a standard Eureka RD belt (the same kind for Sanitaires), but I'm not totally sure.
