    No worries at all. :) It could possibly twist and lock in place once inserted. Sometimes the piece with the prongs could also have notches that would align with the coupler on the hose. You just have to work with it. For me, I prefer doing something like this over a couple of beers. Lol

    I wasn’t trying to be a smart alec. Your second photo you added makes more sense to me as far as reconnecting it goes. The prongs need a power source to plug into.

    Beagledad There is also a secondary filter (foam filter) that goes around the motor housing. I cleaned it today. See pic.

    This website has been awesome for gathering information about various vacuums. I wanted to share a vacuum that I own. Of all the vacuums I’ve owned, this one is by far the best. You can tell these were built very well.
