Are any Hoovers MAade in the USA anymore?

Mexico and China are the only current production places I know of.

    Christmas wish-list...

For quite awhile I've been wanting a Riccar upright and a Miele Canister. I have to do my research on that... But those Riccars are built like tanks! Never seen a Miele in person though.

    Vacuum Commercials

thinking about the past is like opening a closet you haven't been in, in well, however long it's been. It's interesting to think back on the 90s in terms of that.

Hoover T-Series back to back with Eureka Smartvac

Just made and posted a video of my T-Series and Smartvac sucking up shredded paper back to back. T series was a little more hungry then the smartvac, but in the end the smartvac had less paper stuck in the brushroll.

    New Toy!!

I've heard alot of complaints about the regular Windtunnel tipping over when you use an attachment and try to stretch the hose... I tested the tipping resistance on my T-Series today... They seem to have thought that one through a bit this time, the hose comes out of the bottom of the vacuum as...

    New Toy!!

bimmer740 I never had trouble changing the bag in original Windtunnels, in fact I thought it was fairly easy. I consider it more of a pain to change a Kirby or an F&G bag. But nevertheless it certainly couldn't be more easy and clean to hold the bag cover over the trash and press the button and...

    Hoover Video

This belt hasn't shown any slipping besides in the video, for some reason that Sanitaire ALWAYS slips the belt when vacuuming up solids or powders.

    Hoover Video

My sanitaires belt after it's a little worn and I start it up cold will slip until enough friction has warmed it up and made it more "sticky" my S634 doesn't do that though. The Hoover's belt is pretty good about not wearing out too quickly, I think I changed it once since getting it.

    New Toy!!

I spent some time analyzing the build quality today and came to the conclusion that everything on this Windtunnel T Series is paper thin and in other words "simplified", guess that's how they got the weight to 15 pounds. So I'd have to advise to anyone that has one to be careful about knocking...

    Hoover Video

I haven't changed the belt in the Sanitaire in probably nearly a year. It probably needs it but I'm seeing how long I can make this one last. Those belts seem to stretch out and weaken almost right after putting a new one in and I could be replacing them every week if I were fussy about it.

    New Toy!!

Back on Saturday I was at Kohls and came across a bagged T series on display. Hadn't seen one in person yet so I looked it over and it looked pretty nice, fairly solid built and not too flimsy, except for the handle which tends to twist a little more easily then I'd like. Fast forward to today...

    Hoover Video

I wouldn't have it sound any other way. The whole tone of the motor is very pleasing to the ear and anything but painful to listen to, unlike vacuums like the Windtunnel which will deafen you.

    Hoover Video

I finally got around to making a video of my Hoover Guardsman C1631 that I got brand new back in June. Gotta love the sound of the motor starting up!

    New Sanitaire motor

I don't have a sanitaire with the newest motor, but my S634 smelled for a little bit. the SC-888 didn't.

Eureka 1934B Or Hoover T Series Pet Bagged?

I've got a Sanitaire S634 with the plastic handle (1934 clone) and it's surprisingly durable. When I first saw it I thought it would be flimsy and easy to break.

    New Eureka

Every time I click on the 1934 it takes me to a hand vac, they need to fix that. Nice to see they listed it back on their website considering there still for sale.

    this is getting old!

I never had a burst bag on my Smartvac, even after vacuuming up stuff like flour. never had a bag break on any vacuum.
