Super cool!  Doesn't it appear that there is some sort of metal thing in the sink the hose is connected to?  Perhaps the suit-case unit on the floor is just a power unit and the dirt and exhaust are pushed through the hose from the back side to the filtration unit in the sink?  Again, a guess...

May was Lux month? Oooh, the Silverado is pretty - one of my favorites. I always liked the grays and the shiny metal, it looks so auto-like.

One of my first impressions of this Douglas p/n was when I tried to push it under the living room chair and couch. You can't lay the wands on the floor (turned for the hand-hold of course) as the p/n front will lift up off the rug. Ugh, that's why I would use it! The later Lux nozzles lie...
