Brand New Canadian Model 155 Looks like a "150"

Be still my heart! The 150 is on my "wish" list of 30's Hoovers. Does it still smell new? I wish you could post a sample of the new paint-rubber-metal smells ;-)

About the photo environs In case you were wondering, we gutted our kitchen last weekend.

    Bojackin' a 1060, A Connie and GE

In the same house as Connie was this General Electric tank-type vac. I'd never seen one all chrome in advertising or the little bit of service/parts info I have for GE - but here it is. I didn't grab it the first day of the sale but went back (for both) on 1/2 price Sunday. It still runs very...

    Bojackin' a 1060, A Connie and GE

Last week I grabbed this nice Constellation 86. The hose is pretty shabby, but the floor tool & wands are OK - also found the original book in the house too.

    Bojackin' a 1060, A Connie and GE

I haven't posted pics of my estate sale finds lately so I'll jam it all into one thread now... This is a well cared for 1060 I found a few weeks ago, but it's been 'jacked a little bit in it's overhauls:

    Hoover Convertible Model U4001

Those are nice looking! Snap-closure bags I think? The two-tone machine is sharp looking, wouldn't it have been fun to work at the factory? All the different colors and styles coming through the years...

    The herd Just Got Larger

Great vacs, Morgan! I have a 1205 in the to-do section, yours is beautiful... Did you just get the Sidekick or is that new to you too? I found a Diamond Jubilee at a sale a few weeks ago and have been using it as a (weekly) driver. It came with a Sidekick still in it's original packing, it works...

    Hoover Portable

Very nice, Tom. I used to see these fairly often at estate sales, but haven't for a while. I think Fred found one at the St. Louis convention at a thrift store - the first one I actually had ever used. Other than being a little cumbersome, they aren't too bad. Another good save!

    these are STILL around?????

I called them, they sold out last week. Too bad, I would like to have had one too! I did see on in a vac shop in western Nebraska this summer, but it was the floor model, a little banged up and they still wanted $200 for it.

    Hoover Dimension 1000

That is a beautiful cleaner, Fred. I saw one just like it at a shop over in Iowa not long ago but it was beat to hell and missing just about everything...

    Let's Talk Miele

Duane, it looks like you have a very nice shop - sorry I missed it! I had a Miele Solaris in yellow for a year or so before I traded it for something less tangible - it was a great vacuum cleaner!

I wonder what could be in here?

My 61 & 28 I found this 61 at an estate sale, complete with paperwork, attachments, hose and the original box. It was all original and looks barely used. I grabbed the cleaner and put it aside at the sale and went on to fight with an old bitty over some dishtowels. It can get ugly at these...

Scott & Fetzer Home Sanitation System

David - I'm sure I could have sold it on the club, but this way, everyone has a fair chance at it and there can be (or, shouldn't be) any hard feelings. The cleaner does run, I didn't run it for long but could hear the suction through the nozzle. It appears to be the original cord as well.
