    Sebo X4 Hard to Push

Oh they did away with the relief valve type sensor they could be kind of a problem, as they would get debris in them the bag light would get stuck on and the machine would shut down thinking it was overheating. I *think* the way it's done is the same as the height adjustment it just measures...

    Sebo X4 Hard to Push

Huh...it's interesting but makes sense that the lowering occured. I think the height adjustment is triggered by the speed of the clutch assembly, which when the machine is clogged there's less air resistance which would cause the motor to run at a higher rpm causing it to lower itself thinking...

Wanted Atrix mighty mouth bag tray

I've run into kind of a dead end for parts for these units. I got an in box unit, labeled as a turbovac 14 for $50 but didn't realize it was missing the bag tray which is also how the bag connects to the machine so....I've got something unusable right now. I've spent a good amount of time...

Main Equivalency! Which one would you take?

Fair enough, I just thought I'd check in case they had updated them and i was just unaware. I did have a Sirena which i bought used of marketplace and found that it was non serviceable due to it having a washer like press fitted to the shaft rather than having a removable nut. That video was...

Main Equivalency! Which one would you take?

Do sirena and prolux have brushless motors? I've only used one sirena which used a non serviceable brushed motor, perhaps that has changed since then. I know the Hyla EST is brushless. It also seems the new Delphin T8 is brushless too. We don't see a lot of brushless motors in corded machines...

    Electrolux motor bearings

I'm pretty sure, It's the only time I've had that happen. But it was the plastic surrounding the rivet the piece that broke away was on the outer part of that. I've thought about using bolts before but never had a reason to....until then. A pity I was hoping to flip that machine but it ended up...

    Electrolux motor bearings

....I wish I would have known that. I've been using rivets and the supports for them in a 3500 upright shattered which threw the motor off balance.

    Electrolux motor bearings

That's a valid point in this case i was talking about the inner ring that was stuck on the armature shaft, though I did suggest that earlier in the thread i also said you'd want to do it little by little to try to avoid that issue. Anyways glad you get the issue solved! It's always such a pain...

    Electrolux motor bearings

That's a good idea, I know you can rent tools from autozone. But yeah regarding the inner ring those I've definitely cut off just gotta be careful about it of course.

    Electrolux motor bearings

Oh man! That's a rough position to have to remove it from. Hopefully someone else will have a better suggestion but I think it'd actually cut the ring with a dremel. You'll have to do it little by little to make sure the heat generated doesn't warp or melt the plastic housing surrounding it...

Upgrading the Hoover Model 51 with some new parts

Good to see you posting again. You're a very creative and determined person. I had I think a model 50 way back when and That bag upgrade is definitely something I would have enjoyed. I never felt like the Pedal shaker thing worked very well to keep the bag clean. Are you on thingiverse? I had...

    Riccar R27CV Clean Air Cordless

Well....thanks to a nearby shop I got to try one out and I'm not terribly impressed. I was expecting a little more out of it because it sounds similar to my nacecare backpack but It's just not all that.

    New Miracle Mates

Here's that new galaxy nozzle. I do see they still offer Lindhaus nozzles AND they're selling the stair pro which is an excellent mini electric tool.

Kenmore Bags with a translucent backing?

Just to clarify the inlet side is made of the typical hepa bag material it's only the opposite side that's made of the clear material. It's cutting the surface area of the filter in half in order to show the material in the bag. I'm *guessing* that they weren't like available to the average...

Kenmore Bags with a translucent backing?

Josh picked up a Kenmore upright for me which came with a bunch of bags and among those bags there's like 16 of these really odd bags. I've heard of the lewyt speedsac which had a clear strip and I feel like i've heard of bags with a transparent side pre-installed into....some brand. But these...

Thoughts on The Lindhaus Healthcare Pro 14in

You're free to your opinion on things man. I won't argue with you because there's no point. I'm going to continue to do this the way I do because it makes sense to me. I can see what you're getting at but your measurements seems too low to me. I don't consider my measurements an absolute but...

Thoughts on The Lindhaus Healthcare Pro 14in

Yeah the canisters are a different story, I've tested the Aria, an HF6 with the newer motor and they do fine. But the uprights are just lacking. They've had those same specs of 90" and 103 CFM for a litttle while now I even have one of the newer white/red healthcare pros but I just still think...

Thoughts on The Lindhaus Healthcare Pro 14in

I have a love/hate relationship with Lindhaus uprights. They are well built, quiet, filter well and have excellent power nozzles. My gripe about them is their suction motors. They just don't have a lot of power IMO. I still think they work pretty well due to the nozzle but I can't help but feel...

Dirt Devil Model 103 using Oreck B bags with 3D printed bag adapter

Very nice! Not only did you add the disposable bag option but you also did it with better bags, most of the Gs i've seen are super cheap paper.

    updated kirby avalir platinum?

Unsure about the bag's thickness but they added a muffler to the filltube. And they did....something with the cooling air exhaust too.
