What is the Weirdest Vacuums You've Seen?

I'd ask the Vacuum Facts guy, but he probably wouldn't be interested.

What is the Weirdest Vacuums You've Seen?

I would think it's about as good as the DC17, but its Airmuscle head was prone to failure, and it didn't have the Level 3 Root Cyclone Technology like the DC17 had.

What is the Weirdest Vacuums You've Seen?

It was designed to clean American carpeting, which tends to be thicker and deeper pile wise. It has a round brushroll with stiff bristles that provide the agitation needed to remove embedded dirt from carpet. That, and it uses Level 3 Root Cyclone Technology, which has 1 or 2 core separator...

What is the Weirdest Vacuums You've Seen?

Even better than the DC17? Because that would be really impressive.

    What is the longest vacuum

Those Thermax vacs were f*cking HUGE lol

Nope, the clutch and belts were still in great shape. I have replaced clutches in DC14s before when I worked at a vacuum shop, but the DC33 I had never needed a new clutch for the time I had it.

I had a DC07 and DC33. Both ran with no problems. The DC07 I had to sell because I was being evicted from my apartment at the time, and my DC33 was left with my aunt when I moved. Otherwise I would still have them, and they would still be running smoothly.

Mine has been very reliable. I've owned Dysons in the past. Never had any issues with them.

    Cut-and-Paste Budget Bagless Vacuum Design

I definitely want to buy one lol

    Cut-and-Paste Budget Bagless Vacuum Design

The cheap ass cyclone design is basically a copy of Shark's design. It's total complete shit. I don't understand why they don't use dual cyclonic separation in their vacuums. That's far superior to Shark's shit design.

But they'd rather spend hundreds of dollars over the years on cheap ass crap vacuums.

American carpets tend to be thicker and deeper pile wise, whereas British carpets are very short pile, kinda like commercial carpeting you see in offices and other professional settings.

Wouldn't the installation costs make a central vac more expensive? Plus, I'm sure trying to retrofit a central vac system into an older home would be a major pain in the ass.

I would love to see a DC01 work on American carpet, or even a Dyson Ball Animal Multi Floor (looks like an Animal 3 Extra, but it has the really cool telescope wand setup instead of the DC41 wand design). It would be interesting to see how they perform, just out of sheer curiosity.

My Dyson is almost 2 years old. Still works perfectly

What is the Weirdest Vacuums You've Seen?

They should've accepted Dyson's offer of letting them use their MEMA filters. They could've used them as pre motor filters to keep the motors clean and help the HEPA filters on their vacuums last longer. They probably would still be around today, being sold alongside Dyson. They probably...

What is the Weirdest Vacuums You've Seen?

Those Fantoms behind it would outperform it in terms of maintaining suction power. The filter in the Platinum Force upright will get clogged with dust, and cleaning it would be as messy as emptying a Shop Vac.

What is the Weirdest Vacuums You've Seen?

    Same crappy cyclone design lol

What is the Weirdest Vacuums You've Seen?

I'm pretty sure the DC15 still pulled pretty good numbers for air wattage. Of course the Ball design for DC41 and later models is much more streamlined. The Ball Animal 3 pulls 290 air watts, which is incredible lol
