    Hoover Convertible.

Yes, Chad... The IBAISAIC action of these machines is best at getting the buried dirt out of carpets. Hoover knew what they were talkin bout when they said you have to vibrate the carpet to get the dirt out!

    Hoover Convertible Leak

Is it the Convertible I sold you? (convertible1060) Sorry to say, but many, maybe most Convertibles with that style bag ring don't seal perfectly. Even when new. You can try heating the seal with a blow dryer then seating the ring while still warm. Make sure that the teeth on the bottom of the...

    Hoover Convertible Leak

Hmm, what Convertible? Hoover DID use a bead of what looks like hot glue on all the plastic Covertibles. All of the genuine Hoover plastic bag rings are like that. The cast metal bag rings on older Convertibles have a rubber gasket.

Soo I'm leaving the Chinese buffet Friday...

Well here are at least two, Phil. Let us know if you find your HM. I see them every now and then, but i dont know if they all have removable cords and are compatible with Concepts. I'm on the fence about the sticker, Karl. I just realized that all three Concepts I have/had had the handle...

    Eureka Model 260

missing metal part? ooh thats a tough one. you mean the trim around the nozzle opening that the rug glides against, right? im ninety-nine percent sure a common bottom plate would NOT work. for what you paid for that machine, this should not have occurred. any ideas out there??

Soo I'm leaving the Chinese buffet Friday...

thanks for the comments, guys. I too had no idea that non-drive Concept IIs were made, until recently. When i saw the literature for the non-drive Electronic i was surprised again, since the Electronic was TOLish. It soo quiet, and easy to push, on lower speeds. Goodwill in SA has a habit of...

Soo I'm leaving the Chinese buffet Friday...

Could the hand cleaner simply been separated from the upright before pricing? It had its own cord, but seems like too wild of a coincidence? Here she is all put together and looking pretty. (she better look good, i have dishpan hands from all the scrubbing!) Thanks for watching!

Soo I'm leaving the Chinese buffet Friday...

So im walking around the store with my barren Concept Two when, in a different isle, there it is! It had that black cord, and had its own price tag. 3.99 for the hand cleaner, Concept was 6.99. It looked like it would match, so without knowing if it would "go", i mounted the Help Mate onto the...

Soo I'm leaving the Chinese buffet Friday...

My mind is blown! All the speeds work! Finally a Quiet Concept! L@@K! (already thinking how im going to start a thread begging for a replacement hand cleaner) Should i get rid of that handle sticker, guys?

Soo I'm leaving the Chinese buffet Friday...

OMG, it cant be! Not in south Texas! Can this be the non-drive Concept Two ive wanted for a while now? And to top it off... ITS ELECTRONIC!

Soo I'm leaving the Chinese buffet Friday...

Ugh... another boring Concept Two (walking toward machine, eyes straining across the store to see if i can spot anything different about this model) Its not power-drive, thats a plus!... (frowning over missing hand cleaner)

Soo I'm leaving the Chinese buffet Friday...

Hmm, whats this? (hand cleaner was MIA at first)

Soo I'm leaving the Chinese buffet Friday...

... its rush hour, so i figure i can walk a bit after my meal, and let the traffic (hopefully) die down a bit. Why not go to the Goodwill store across the shopping center. This store is usually a dud...

    Hoover Commercial Upright Elite

Usually love fur... ...but that is TOO MUCH! Wild, isnt it Marty? Those motors must generate some major cooling-fan airflow. Could you compare the noise level of this machine to another Hoover, Marty? Seven amps, right? And good idea leaving the tool holder off. Thanks for the pics!
