    Hoover Anniversary self-propelled windtunnel.

Please don't patronize Amazon. They abuse their workforce terribly. I hate rewarding their terrible ways.

Looking for motor for Panasonic MC-663 upright

There is good and bad. Shield bearings are not dust tight. Bearings with lip seals are. And while you can't repack a sealed bearing, once you have the bearing out I kind of don't see the point of repacking a bearing that is worn. Bearings of the size used in most vacuum motors are pretty...

Electrolux attachments & accessories - additional images

Don't know about New Zealand but US based Electrolux stuff is listed on the UK ebay site all the time. That floor brush will fit the older 32 mm Electrolux wands for things like a D720 so it ought to fit your old Electrolux.

    Smelly Vacuum Hose

And while searching for these listings I stumbled on a vintage Kenmore hose that almost never comes up for sale in good condition. The hose material was very bad and most of them have long since disintegrated. I would joke that on a quiet night you could hear these hoses slowly disintegrating...

    Shark stick vac opinons wanted.

Ay Carumba. I need to read more carefully. That MC-PJ23 only has an air driven nozzle, not their good electric power nozzle. My bad !!! There had been one on the US ebay site for ages and it just sold. Darn.

    Smelly Vacuum Hose

Here is an example of the complete wet extractor assembly with all the hoses and cleaning heads including a Spraymate. There was also a dry power nozzle you could use with this for normal dry carpet cleaning. One of most versatile wet dry vacuums / extractors ever sold. Nobody makes anything...

    Smelly Vacuum Hose

Kenmore's regular power nozzles are called Powermates so the wet power nozzle with a sprayer in it is called the Spraymate. They were made by Singer Manufacturing in Anderson South Carolina...

    Shark stick vac opinons wanted.

Here is the Numatic Quick on sale. Still pretty expensive. https://cjmillervac.com/products/henry-quick-cordless-vacuum-cleaner-hen100?se_activity_id=144785276991&syclid=d4j8kc4hjloc73d37bhg&utm_campaign=Holiday+Sale+_144785276991&utm_medium=email&utm_source=shopify_email

    Shark stick vac opinons wanted.

Here is what we use. The entire thing, vacuum hose wand and power nozzle weigh under 6 pounds. I carry the vacuum in one hand and operate the wand and power nozzle with the other. I have back and knee problems and this is light enough not to bother me. Power wise it has more suction and...

    Sebo or Miele?

Miele lacks the high quality they once had. Their telescopic wands suffer broken latches and have internal electrical problems. The cord reels are fragile and the swivel contacts on their hoses get dirty and develop dead spots. The bag dock is dodgy and on mine sometimes starts to eject the...

Looking for motor for Panasonic MC-663 upright

That is ok if you have shield bearings and can remove the metal shields. If you have sealed bearings, many do, then you cannot lubricate them. You remove and replace them.

    Smelly Vacuum Hose

Bissell and Kenmore both sold electric wet power nozzles with sprayers in them. Kenmore called theirs the Spraymate. Don't know what Bissell called theirs but they turn up on eBay all the time.

    Cut-and-Paste Budget Bagless Vacuum Design

PR at least has some actual hands on with real vacuums. I suspect V-F would sing a different song if he had to repair Dysons and other brands of vacuum for a living.

This little Yamaha receiver followed me home

You might be surprised there are people out there who love old audio equipment and know how to repair old components. If there is a high end audio dealer in your area they will know who to contact. I have a set of what were very expensive Infinity home speakers I bought from the AFEES Overseas...

    1972 Vac Shop's Multi-Brand Model Price List—Household & Commercial Vacs / Floor Polishers / Carpet Shampooers

I have a C2 in one of those boxes with all the attachments and some original disposable bags. The lid hinge on the wooden box needs a little attention but otherwise all there and it works though the motor probably needs the bearings greased.

Riccar® model № 1500P.2 canister vacuum hose assembly

True story, this past weekend I found an upper bearing and brush holder for a Hoover Dial-A-Matic. They are made of Bakelite and are very brittle, so it is basically impossible to change a worn out upper bearing without breaking it. It is maybe the only reason I don't use my working D-A-M (...

    Dyson Piston

We had a similar experience with an electronic dog door. The first door shipped never connected to our internet. Turned out to be an early version that was no longer supported. The manufacturer sent another dog door but now we have to worry the door we have will eventually become unsupported.
