    Them contact heads are good parwaz, however the gaskets tend to split inside them. Have you seen the old dc01 ydk I got last night?

    Here is dc01 with its cyclone back on and polished up, it's slightly discoloured but hardly any scratches so I think I will keep it.

    Hi suction selector, I use autoglym glass polish on the bins then spray with wd40 and wipe with kitchen role. Here is a picture or my de stijl dysons with the bins done.

    Got this off eBay this evening for a tenner. The flex was broken where it enters the body of the cleaner so I rewired it and the motor fired up. It's also got the ydk motor in it which was a nice suprise as all the dc01's I've had have always had the amtek motor in them. I've stripped it down...

    I've just looked at the instruction manual on the numatic site, strange that they have ditched the 580w model in just 4 months.

    Evening, I had the hetty autosave 1200w. Swapped it for a new HET200-A2 and I can't really tell the difference compared to the 1200w. Has anyone tried a standard floor head on the 580w model instead of the supplied wessel werk one?
