What is Secret for Cleaning White Mold from Attachments

I have several GE machines and this gross mold is a too familiar. It also forms on some of the hardware on the Roll-Easy, like the bag chamber latch mechanism, and on the exhaust port cover on the pink Roll-Around. I'd be interested to find out exactly what kind of mold it is, and why it grows...

What brand is this tester for?

That looks like it might fit my Kenmore Bugeyes. The thing that doesn't make sense, though, is that they weren't sold door-to-door, which makes one wonder why there would be a dirt meter for them. So perhaps not....

WANT TO BUY: GE Hoses & Attachments

Here are a couple of shots of the hose end that attaches to the machine. The hose on my pink Roll-Around / Swivel Top is identical in design.

WANT TO BUY: GE Hoses & Attachments

Dwayne, Thanks for the offer - unfortunately I think the fitting on that hose is a bit different than the earlier GE canister hoses. I'll post a photo of mine later on.

WANT TO BUY: GE Hoses & Attachments

I see we are all being optimistic today.... Let me restate that these items do not have to be Roll-Easy specific. Early swivel top items will be just fine. I don't care if they are aqua I just went them to be usable.

WANT TO BUY: GE Hoses & Attachments

Hello all, I am looking to purchase a total of 3 General Electric Hoses and sets of attachments and wands for some Roll-Easys I have (I have 4 machines but 3 are missing everything). These could be from Swivel Tops, Roll-Arounds, or Roll-Easys. The hoses could be woven or vinyl, and the...

A BAD EBAY DEAL FROM RUGSUCKER

I'm sorry to hear your machine arrived damaged, that feeling of dread when opening a damaged box with rattling pieces inside is just the worst. I too have received poorly packed machines from leisurelady65. She claims that she has "never had a problem before" but I personally know at least a...

    GE Roll-Easy Power Cords

I'm wondering if these cords are proprietary to the Roll-Easy or if the female end is some sort of standard connector. I'm in need of 3 power cords and don't know where to begin looking (other than the obvious and fruitless eBay). Any info is appreciated!

    Hoover 700 help needed!

Ken, it's my pleasure to help get your 700 back in service. I sent you an email. As for the brushes, they aren't too hard, see page 42 of the Hoover Service Manual which you can download from my website, The Vacuum Archives. http://vacuumarchives.org

Hoover Knowledge?? - Which Hoover is worth restoring?

Mike, give me a call sometime and I'll tell you anything you want to know about these. The short answer is that the 800 is probably the one I'd choose to restore, followed by the 105 (the handle is correct but it's missing several pieces which may be hard to find). The 725 is common, though...
