I have several GE machines and this gross mold is a too familiar. It also forms on some of the hardware on the Roll-Easy, like the bag chamber latch mechanism, and on the exhaust port cover on the pink Roll-Around. I'd be interested to find out exactly what kind of mold it is, and why it grows...

That looks like it might fit my Kenmore Bugeyes. The thing that doesn't make sense, though, is that they weren't sold door-to-door, which makes one wonder why there would be a dirt meter for them. So perhaps not....

Here are a couple of shots of the hose end that attaches to the machine. The hose on my pink Roll-Around / Swivel Top is identical in design.

Dwayne, Thanks for the offer - unfortunately I think the fitting on that hose is a bit different than the earlier GE canister hoses. I'll post a photo of mine later on.

I see we are all being optimistic today.... Let me restate that these items do not have to be Roll-Easy specific. Early swivel top items will be just fine. I don't care if they are aqua I just went them to be usable.
