I was wondering if anyone could give me any info about this model Hoover - I think I just bought it off of Craigslist and don't know that much about them...

    Does anybody want this Hoover?

John, I hoped you'd want it - I'll take the handle off and find a box and figure out how much shipping would be. I'll email you off the list with details. Thanks, Graham

    Does anybody want this Hoover?

I got it for free - it works, but is a bit noisy - if you'd like it, let me know how you'd like me to ship it (you'd have to pay for the actual shipping costs) and I'll box it up and send it to you.

    Apollo Upright

This is a little too far for me to go grab, but I hope it doesn't end up getting scrapped. The ad on Craigslist says: The is a very old Apollo Upright Vacuum Cleaner. It does not appear to work but could be an interesting project for restoration. It's near the sidewalk at 1649 Fernside St...

Saw this on craigslist and was wondering about these wheels - looks more like something a legless dog would use to get around on.

It's got some scratches on the top, but it's still in pretty good shape! Another delicious "free lunch"!

    More from the dumpster

Took a peak into the dumpster behind my local vacuum store on my way home today and found this Electrolux PN4 power nozzle! I've been looking for one on eBay for a while as my Automatic E came with a wand, but no nozzle. I cleaned the inside of it out and plugged it in and it ran beautifully!

    Dumpster Hoover -

Found a good cord in the same dumpster I found the Hoover in - two wire that works great! I also found a nice green Kirby cord that just needs a new "male" end put on. "Free lunches" actually do exist - and they taste a lot better than some of the lunches I've had to pay for! Where can I find...

    Estate Sale Eureka

Got the new black outer bag that lets me use F&G bags - it seems to work MUCH BETTER now! I'm still looking for a brushroll that will work. I thought the black bag complimented the lines of the vacuum better - I've also always thought that all machines should be either black or gray. What do you...

3.35 amps - thanks for helping me find a brush roll. I'm thinking I might have to custom make one out of a new roll with the end caps of the one that is on there...

Will this bag fit on this machine and let me use throw away bags? Is it that simple? What bag would this machine have come with? http://www.ebay.com/itm/270774744764?ssPageName=STRK:null:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1429.l2648#ht_1161wt_933

I'm having a hard time finding a replacement brush roll for this vacuum - the one that is on there is all wood with square shaped bits on the ends. -- if anyone can point me in a direction that I might find one, I'd greatly appreciate it!
