GE Model 11 VB 10L Barrel Cleaner

More Pics Hi Steve The GE finally arrived last week. The cleaner was in great condition but the hose didn't hold up too well so Ive replaced it with the closest match I could, a Hoover hose. Whever packed it placed the cleaner on top of the hose and squashed it. Never mind as the original hose...

GE Model 11 VB 10L Barrel Cleaner

you may be right! this shape was shared with Sanyo , PYE and Waltons branded machines in OZ. The Sanyo i had in orange with identical specs was significantly louder than the GE which makes me wonder that it's what you don't see that makes the difference

    240v to 110v - advice needed

Hi all I've seen so many gorgeous American vacuums for sale over the years on Ebay but the one thing that has put the idea of buying on hold is the voltage conversion. In NZ we are 220 - 250v so needless to say plugging an American machine into our outlets would blow the arse out of it. Are...

New Zealand Connie - Unique bag!

Vintagerepairer you make a good point about the hitachi cleaners. They were very expensive here but once again due to government import tariffs. They seemed to be well liked by those who had them and as reliable as the day was long. As mentioned earlier they simply didnt get much of a lookin...

New Zealand Connie - Unique bag!

Hi Doug The Goblin ACE and Hoover 407 here were made by Fisher & Paykel. They look identical to the 1950s electrolux. The Goblin was discontinued in 1972 and the 407 took up the role. There were very few differences except the Hoover was more powerful with a 700 watt motor as the goblin had a...
