The model number is typically on the underside where the wheels/casters are. On mine there is not a tag but the plastic is embossed with the information. You really have to look. Good luck!

I am so bummed. There was a beautiful Hoover Dial a Matic on eBay I was sure I was going to win. Had all the attachments, too. Turquoise blue....appeared to be an 1120. If someone on here bought it and is interested in selling, let me know. I am alway in the market for these in whatever color...
