    kirby help

The Classic Omega was the first Kirby over here, so there aren't too many around. Classic III's come up every so often, but there are plenty of Traditions and Heritages. Yes it is frustrating when they won't ship overseas! Keep checking, the handi-butler kits come up for Heritage and Tradition...

    kirby help

The Heritage was the last one to have the handi-bulter, I seem to remember something in my Heritage II manual about a handi-butler but have never seen a HII with one? Maybe someone else knows better? Mike, check ebay.co.uk and I'm sure you will find a Tradition or Heritage with a handi-butler...

    Hoover senior 6525e

Hydrogen peroxide isn't too hard to get for retrObright, Search locally for a hair and beauty whole saler, or go in a local hair dresser etc and ask if there is a local whole saler, not sure if a chemist would sell it in the quantity required. 1 litre should be enough for you, I get it in 5...

    RetroBright Formula Trial

In responce to James, I used Xantham Gum [ebay], and Glycerine [ebay/ or a chemist] for thickening, and the peroxide came from a hair and beuty wholesalers. It was in a 5 litre bottle. I used "merlin's original recipe", which can be found in the following link, just click on "making...

    RetroBright Formula Trial

Couldn't agreee more! I had to keep moving my parts around the garden to get the most intence sunlight as the day went on. I left my tester all night under the UV lamp with no results, then did my vacuum the next day in sunlight with instant results! I would like to invest in a better UV lamp...

    RetroBright Formula Trial

Hi James, It had been on my to-do list for years! I did originally use a UV lamp, just a bayonent, incadessant bulb 75W style one, left it overnight, getting up at 3am to re-apply the paste, and it didn't make any difference! The lamp wasn't emitting enough UV :( Tried it in the sunlight and...

    RetroBright Formula Trial

Amazing stuff isn't it! Looks great, and I'm glad others do know about this stuff! Good idea wrapping it with kling film to stop it drying! I posted a thread about it a few weeks ago, and my experiences of it, but had no replies. Keep up the good work, I can't retrObright for a while, as there...

    Goblin Rio 800

Nice little vacuums these. I'm after one like you describe myself. I have the 2 speed XPC, missing the combination floor nozzle and curved tube :( I might have a spare upholstery nozzle and crevice tool somewhere...

retrOBrighting some sun yellowed Electrolux 600's

615, after about 3 days. Its still not perfect, but I couldn't really notice it getting any less yellowed. The bag door was done after a few hours pretty much, but the handle is still not the right shade! With more treatment I'm sure it would be 100% the original colour again. Please note, this...
