I like the motor on this machine better because it is original from the 1974. Old motors sound a lot cooler than modern motors.

It only has 4 adjustment settings, like my Eureka commercial vacuum from the early 70s. I would think this might be also from the early 70s as well, but it's labeled Sanitaire instead of Eureka. It looks like it's from before 1976, because it does not have air vents. I also think it's a household vacuum because the bag has the 2 screws you attach to the base. And it has edge cleaner. I've never heard of the model 1426A before, so I am wondering what year it's from.

I am thinking this is from the 70s or 80s. I also find it odd that the handle does not match the chrome cover. Also, this cord has been replaced. I think the original cord is black.

I think I installed it in correctly, though I am not sure. The outer bag is original with the machine, because the little tube with the spring does not at all look modern. It looks so 70s. It was never bent like that, but this was my first time dealing with a machine with these springs. And I could not see it attached because of the dirt that covered it. I wonder how I can fix this. It looks so old, so I might replace the spring.

The brush does not rattle, but moved a little. It was snug before I tried to get the brush out. Now, that side of the brush moves a little. I took a picture and I'll show you.
