I had a singer simon like the kenmore, I remember thinking this is weird there is a pixie on the bottom, why would any one put a pixie on a vacuum. I sure loved it ethier way.

Another thing I noticed is that the bag is on the right instead of the left, that seems odd to me.

I use to have those same models.... I had one in blue and one in white like the one in the picture. The white on I found in the trash and the blue one I got from kirby.
