Ah! Interesting to hear. So did not many of them survive or has other things come along to push them away from the lime light? Or am I just missing something lol?
A few others that I'd say I'd most like to get ahold of would be a dyson dc01 and a good condition for dc07 that isn't crazy priced for it's condition (my parents had a dc07 for years so it's a little special to me). I think the hoovee decade 80 has quickly been climbing my list towards the top...

Well, I just recently started collecting. I always wanted to before but I hadn't really done research or looked to see what was out there, I just knew there were a couple brands I wanted and that's about it lol. But since I've started I've been doing alot of research and finding...

I'm glad you like it! From what I can tell, it seems to be a bit of an odd ball hoover maybe? There are just a couple tiny videos on youtube about it and that's it, so I'm assumeing it's not a mainstream one.
So, I recently discovered the hoover decade 80 just surfing online, window shopping. I really like the look of it, but I was wondering, is it one worth buying if I find one? What are the hoover collectors opinions on it?

Actually, after that I went to goodwill, and they had sold a Eureka that I looked at getting too. I was like, well crap. So a friend got ahold of me and wanted to hang out, so while I was waiting for him to get ready to meet me I decided to go to one last place. And to my surprise...
I was looking at my local pawn shop, which generally carries alot of sweepers, all of which I've had good luck finding the ones I have now there. I've had my eye on this LG Kompressor upright, wanted one since it came out. I finally went to check it out, and I had to pass. It looked like someone...
Question of the day, what is the sweeper you'd most like to have that you don't already own? And if you already do have have your dream sweeper, what is it? Mine is a kirby legend 2, I would be absolutely excited to get my hands on one!

Thanks for the information! I have never really called myself a Eureka person, but for $10 I may go pick it up once my paycheck is in later this week, if it is still there.
I saw a Eureka Precision bagged upright, looks like maybe mid 90's, could be older than that. Had a red bag and was 10 amps, it was priced at $10. I was just wondering is this a good deal or not? I can't find any on ebay to really compare prices.
I've got a larger hose and some attatchments for it, still fairly small but I would reckon they aren't the mini's you speak of. It's not a bad little dude, if maybe a little loud.
So, yeah I just found this at goodwill, didn't even know this existed! It's pretty interesting considering I'm a big car guy as well. I don't the the exact age but I'd have to guess mid 90's from the picture of the corvette on the box? Either way came with it's origional box, most of it's...
For me, normally I like a nice deep, growling like tone, I guess is the best way to describe it lol. Alot of newer sweepers sound whiney, or raspy, not very pleasent.

Thanks for the compliments man! I'm glad you approve, I've never worked with polish before! I'm pretty nervous to do any serious sanding, and I still won't be able to it for a while, but I would like to do the kirby justice :). It's a nice sweeper that's been truckin' it for...
So, all of you sweeper lovers out there, what makes a sweepers sound appealing to you? Like a deep roar, a quiet whispy, etc.? Also, which of one in particular of yours is your favorite sounding? :)
