    Panasonic MC 6347

Nice! I like your panasonic! I've come to like those a good bit. They seem to do a pretty good job, aren't loud, and I like the look! That's an interesting color, it looks good in it!

    Hoover Dustette age/information?

Cool info I was guessing frm the color that it may have been around that age but I wasn't really sure, since I really didn't know much of anything about dustettes. Thanks for your compliments! I tried searching everywhere on the internet for one that looked like this but I havn't found one yet...

    Hoover Dustette age/information?

Just found this dustette today at a nearby antique shop. It was only 3 dollars and I really like the look of it, so I jumped on it. Can anybody tell me the age of this and anything they might know about them? Also it says it was made in England, but Idk if all dustettes are like that or if this...

Eureka Mega Boss World Vac 9834B whinning issue

I just picked this sweeper up today. I tested it at the thrift store, no whinning noise but I did notice it needed a belt. I get it home, changed the belt, started using it, and there is a small whinning noise now. I know it's not the motor going out becaus it would have done it wether there was...

    A Douglas handheld?

To be truthful, I can't say I've ever seen one of these little guys, but it's pretty neat! Picked it up for 3 dollars at a nearby goodwill. It's dump out bag had the most caked on, solid sheet of dirt I've seen on a sweeper. But I brushed out what I could, and used my kenmore dynonite to clean...

    Fantom Fury diagnostic question

So, I was very luckily able to get my hands on a fantom fury for a very reasonable price recently and I've been doing some cleaning on it. Foxed the clog, replaced the best, cleaned around in there some, you know what I mean. I did notice that it seems to run kinda hotter than I feel exactly...

Question on older dirt devil uprights...

I've aquired a few older dirt devil uprights, and even on my very short carpet it seems to give the rollar brush trouble. It seems like unless I'm pulling the sweeper back, the brush won't spin. But if I tilt the sweeper off the floor it spins freely with no issue. No belt squeel either. Any...

    Ok, dumb kirby question...

Thanks guys I really just want to turn this one into more of a display peice than anything. It looks better with the actual emptor peice and a more origional bag.

    NOW I'm confused!

Good job kirby company Thanks for the information guys. Really not sure why they'd not just make it it's own model, it'd be less confusion, but of course corporate knows best ;)

    NOW I'm confused!

I'm milling around, checking out this Legend 2 that I was super excited to get recently. But, I notice something very confusing on it. On the sticker on the bottom of the motor case it says "Heritage 2, model 2HD". Says the same thing behind the brush head. But everything else screams LEGEND 2...

    Ok, dumb kirby question...

I'm working on a sanitronic 7, and I want to convert it from using the disposable bags, back to origional. I'm having a total brain fart and cannot think of what a certain part is called! What is the part called that has the little door on the bottom that you open up to shake the dirt out of...

Lots of Kirby updates! Thrift finds and repairs

Fantomfan57/kirbycollector I understand, with work and life it's easy for stuff to get pushed on the back burner, happens to me all the time lol. And it does feel great! I flipped out when I saw the Legend 2! I walk in, look over to the section they have sweepers in, and I don't see anything...

Lots of Kirby updates! Thrift finds and repairs

I've been working on a sanitronic 7, was making alot of noise and when spinning the fan manually it would catch at a certain point. So I took it apart, turns out there was so much dirt built up on the inside of th case it was between the fan and the housing. Got that cleaned out and now it spins...

    Taking apart a kirby

Thank you Thanks for the help guys, yeah I was having trouble getting that fan case off and I wasn't sure if that was just "crud" holding it togeather or actual gasket material. I'm glad it's the gasket stuff lol.
