Sirena refurb worth it? What about Quantum X?

I did not take off the HEPA filter to see if it was spotless, but the bottom of the motor unit was clean, the intake was clean, basin was clean and clear, hoses looked brand new-no dirt in them, power nozzle had small worn spots near the brush roll but it doesn’t effect performance. The nozzle...

Sirena refurb worth it? What about Quantum X?

So far I’m liking the Rainbow. My only gripes are with the power nozzle not being direct connect, it doesn’t swivel when the handle is turned despite the wand turning with the handle, and the other is that the motor unit is noisier than I’m accustomed to. But it has definitely cleaned very well...

Help! What is happening to my Rainbow

Have they gotten back to you about what was wrong? Or did you decide to upgrade to the latest model?

Miele s6 Jasper with SBD-650 Nozzle

I had an Alize that had this nozzle. It’s the one machine I do wish I’d kept. It worked really well but I sold it to try something else.

    My New Rainbow SRX 🌈

Amazing! Thank you for checking on it for me!

    My New Rainbow SRX 🌈

joshp83 I would appreciate it! 😃 I ask only because I’m getting an E series 1 speed and as a future upgrade I was thinking of getting the one of the new power nozzles for it.

    My New Rainbow SRX 🌈

Would the wands for the new PN fit the E series 1 speed hose? Or would a new hose be necessary too?

Sirena refurb worth it? What about Quantum X?

Thank you everyone! I decided to go with the general message everyone seemed to have: “If you want a Rainbow, get a Rainbow.” I took Rob and Bill’s suggestion of an E series 1 speed. Found a decent price for a “mint condition” refurbished version. The seller had 100% positive feedback and I...

Sirena refurb worth it? What about Quantum X?

@mark40511 I wonder if yours was an earlier model and they’ve since resolved what causes these issues? Your experience has me hesitant about Sirena. I need something dependable. Everyone I know who has heard of Rainbow or who has ever owned one always raves about how it’s the best. But they’re...

Sirena refurb worth it? What about Quantum X?

@crazykirbydude after reading your post I did go look for that model. Greatvacs.com sells it but it’s expensive for the age. However they have another brand I’m not as familiar with, “Ocean Blue” that looks very similar, it’s just blue and uses a different hose and PN. It was similarly priced...

Sirena refurb worth it? What about Quantum X?

After some challenging events in life a couple years ago, I had to sell my beloved Aerus Lux Vacuums. I’ve adopted two kittens and am learning my allergies are starting to flare, and so I need something that gets their shedded hair up and the dander out of my home. Everyone I know recommends...

Request to the Miele Company - Lightweight Upright Please

I would love to see a Miele lighter weight upright with onboard hose. I wouldn’t mind a smaller bags and motor, and fewer speed settings to accomplish this, as I keep a generally clean home anyway. The quick step still puts a lot of weight in hand I think. Something like their existing upright...

What vacuum do you recommend for the car?

Garagevac Thanks, Bud! I’m thinking of maybe getting one to use as a Central Vac in my townhouse. How’s the noise level?

What vacuum do you recommend for the car?

Garagevac.com PR-21/Bud, Does that stretch hose have bad recoil when in use (like a Shark or Dyson)? Or does it stay stretched easy like current Miele and Riccar Tandem upright hoses? Is the airflow/suction still strong at the end when it’s stretched all the way out? Thanks!

Best department store stick vac under $50?

While browsing a local Big Lots, I found the Bissell 3 in 1 for $19. It is a pretty blue, so I got it. It has 2 filters in it: the one in the dust cup, and a black sponge in front of the fan. It did not come with spares. I was surprised to see they bumped up the power from 1 amp (I had one...

Please recommend a canister to an upright guy

If you want POWER then the Aerus Lux Guardian Platinum is the best. Be prepared to drop at least $1500 for it. For under $1k I suggest any bagged Miele with a power nozzle.

    New Oreck Cordless

I did get one of these but I’m not impressed. I think maybe I expected too much. But it doesn’t seem strong to me, even on level 2. I’m sending mine back and will get a corded stick vac instead.

Best department store stick vac under $50?

Looking for a small lightweight stick vac to take care of hardwood floors, area rugs, and carpeted stairs. I’d prefer one with a brush roll, but I am open to straight suction models too. I’ll want one I can get from Walmart/Target/Lowe’s/Amazon/etc. While I realize there are some good ones $100...

New old stock Bissell 3554B unboxing

That is awesome! I wanted one of these but the opportunity never arose. How is the performance? Is this a loud vacuum?
