Hey Ben! Is there a chevron brush roll available for a Kirby 513?

I'd like to show off my Kirby 513. Although it doesn't have the original bag, I think it's still beautiful.

I found an old video of me from 1995. I still remember pushing around that Regina until we replaced with an electrolux prolux plus. Enjoy!

How do I open the motor?

I stated earlier that it still runs without the hose connected.

I can't for the life of me get it to open. Does anyone have like a "how to" or an owners manual? My serial number is P09236E if that helps. I want to take it apart and clean out the motor and inside. There are 2 screws underneath where the bag goes, but they are in a really awkward spot. Thanks...

I was at a thrift store yesterday, and I found an attachment set for a Kirby Classic III. I don't own a Classic III, so I was wondering would it work on my Kirby 513?

i also want to ad that that i hate turbo brushes. I feel that if it had it's own motor then it wouldn't slow down like my dyson one does.

some things that I hope for in the next model: an electric hose, a motorized upholstery tool, and a power nozzle for canister mode with a head light. I am considering buying a kenmore progressive, but i still am loyal to kirby.
