    Ranking The Consumer-Level Carpet Shampooers

Water Extraction Amperage doesn't matter as much as the design of the motor fan and waste water containment does. Perhaps a Hoover could hold more water than a Bissell, however most Bissell models combine a bladder inside of the waste water containment that holds fresh water. This bladder takes...

    Regina Shampooer/Scrubber accident

Me too! I have an original model from 1896, single speed and I did the same thing. The build quality as far as these shampooers go was never fantastic, but they're still my favorites.

    Ranking The Consumer-Level Carpet Shampooers

Personally I like alot of the Bissell carpet cleaners from over the years. The biggest issue of all that I've seen with the Proheats however is the models with the built in heater would often clog up with residue from the carpet cleaning solution.

I bought this nice machine new for an incredible price! Here's a video of this Panasonic. It's alot like the Kenmore Power Path vacuums from the mid 90's. http://https//m.youtube.com/watch?v=hFsMF_gnob8

    Sanitaire SC887B Commercial Vacuum

Original Fantom Vacuum Rebuild, Switch Needed

Last year, the vacuum stopped working cold turkey due to a dead power switch. Would anyone have a switch that would fit this machine they'd be willing to sell? This vacuum is essentially the same machine as the Fantom Thunder. I looked every which way on line without any luck.

    Hoover Decade 80

I actually used my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge for this one. It has one of the best cameras ever to be put on to a mobile phone.

    Hoover Decade 80

Here's a demonstration of my Hoover Decade 80. With this model including the "Power Surge" feature, I decided to put that to the test to see if that extra bout of power that the Power Surge puts out improved the machines performance. I hope you all enjoy the video...

Vacuumkid47 Lol I know, my grandmom also had a version of this that had a plastic hose that went around the handle like a big loop.

    An Older Kenmore Upright

HeneryDreyfuss I agree. For what it is, and compared to its competitors, this machine is built well. Servicing this machine is very simple, and it's one of the easiest machines to take apart and put back together. I've used Panasonic uprights similar to this one, and I did notice that some have...
