    My New Hoover Constellation!!!

AWESOME! The new Connies suck and blow at the same time (that's a good thing). They sound a little different than the old Connies but they do ride a cushion of air and it will float all around the carpet and floor.

Not one, but TWO new vacuums purchased!

I'm thinking the Kenmore (especially the TOL) will have vintage appeal because of the buttons and tricks that it does.

Not one, but TWO new vacuums purchased!

2 months now. But it's workin' fine. Mine has a dirt sensor that lights up when it sees dirt. But I find it works best if you have the carpet height adjustment right. Too low and the light stays on (it thinks the carpet is one big dirt). Too high and it won't see the dirt. But I can make my...

    Meet the New Connie

I have vinyl flooring and when vac'ing it, my Connie will try to run me over. It's all over the place on bare floor. On the carpet it's fine.

    Meet the New Connie

Hoover's website? I noticed that the ConSatellation isn't anywhere on Hoover's website? Is HOOVER actually making this or is this some other manufacturer putting Hoover and Maytag's brand on it? Seems weird to me.

    Meet the fleet!

The Kenmore is great on bare floors so I'll just use it instead. The Connie does clean well on carpets and is FUN to use. Good to have more than one of each appliance. I have a vac collection, an ever growing coffee pot collection, now all I need is a vintage washer to round it out.

    Meet the fleet!

Yeah, the powernozzle sounds like a dentist's drill. With the bare floor head, the Connie is quiet despite the high pitched 12amp motor.

    Meet the fleet!

Well, they're not vintage but they're really good vacs if you ask me. 2006 Kenmore Progressive vac and 2006 Hoover new Constellation in pearl white. Both are excellent machines and fun to play with. The Kenmore has pushbutton controls on the handle and theres this "dirt sensor" light that...
