what i do... what i do to clean bags is i turn it inside out, then i hold my breath for a few seconds as swing it at a big tree, i keep swinging intil i see no more dust come out, its a little dirty of a job but it works great!

looks like... looks like a heritage I with a heritageII head on it to me, and judging by the serial number it looks to be an '82. the early heritage had the kirby logo on the headlight lens, also it did not say kirby on the lower part of the handle fork decal. also the scuff plate had lines...

hey kirbymodel2c i have seen your great collection, very impressive! i hope mine will be that complete someday! i got my first kirby the monday before christmas 2006 in that little time i have got so much! i love them all! i have been keeping my eye out for a sentria, hopefully one will turn up!

camelotshadow... you got a great deal on you d-50 too! you will love the way the kirby oval glows when it is on, it is soooo kool!, petek, i use a green compound first, red compound on any deep scratches, then i use a blue rouge with a softer wheel to take the very fine buffing scratches out...

it was a steal! i was SO exited when i seen the boxes, and the handi butler, and even more when i seen the kirby had the original bag on it! hopefully i will polish it this week, i cant wait to see what it will look like then.

thanks! thanks for the comments! i use a 3/4 h.p. buffer with 8 inch wheels to polish with. i still need to polish alot more of my kirbys, i will try to post pics as i do. i cant wait to start in on my new dual 50!
