I just removed the brushes and holders, still no movement of shaft ? I reinstalled the threaded piece on the end of the shaft above fan. Can you inset a ice pick into that to remove armature ? Going slow to not break something...thanks for all tips !

Thanks I succeeded in removing fan, unscrewed the fan bearing plate but couldn’t get the armature to move a bit ? Can anyone tell me what to do next ?

Yes Les I do need revits ! I do have a gun but unsure if I can gain access to the underside of nozzle ?

I am going to attempt to replace the rubber trim on a D50 soon, lesinutah was kind enough to supply the parts. Can anyone explain proper technique for removing and reinstalling the trim on the hood and nozzle with out damage. Do you drill out the revits and replace ?

I picked up this D50 at my local vacuum shop for $10.00. It is in pretty original condition except the emptor was replaced with f/g disposable style. What is the general thought on the decal ? Leave it be or remove ? The plastic Sanitronic emblem is perfect underneath...thanks

Emtor bottom is red plastic, housing is aluminum

Inside the nozzle is rough texture, brush roll has big and small screw .

Upon receiving the machine I still have no idea what it really is ? No I’d plate on bottom and no rivet holes either ? It has been rebuilt and polished well, also has newer plastic type fan. I believe all the red trimmings and wheels are replacements too. Any I’d help would be appreciated...jack
