Had a think - even though I do like the evolution 300 what swayed me was the fact that I have realised I still have 4 unopened service x boxes - so all I would have to buy is the exhaust filters. I think I will order the G1 on Monday

Saw that video, my German is somewhat limited, I understood a bit - was going to coax a friend who is fluent to watch it :) It was interesting reading the specs on Sebo's website, the G1 is better rated in energy efficiency than the new Evolution.
